someone please tell me what this is.

Cannabis Forums Message Boards - Medical Marijuana, Cannabis Club, Dispensary, News <- click the link. I think this may be a pollen sac with white hairs growing out of it im very confused:( i have some of these on my female plants.

this is a calyx. this is a female reproductive organ. the pistils (white hairs) are little tubes that catch pollen. once they catch pollen, it is guided to the calyx where it will fertilize the egg inside which creates a seed and keeps the lineage going. the seed grows right there inside of the calyx and it splits open once the seed is ripe.

no worries mate, you've got yourself a full-on lady!

To me that just looks like a plump calyx, tho too plump to be sensi... might have a hermie sac in there somewhere fouling things up on the girly parts.

i've got plenty of calyxes that size on sensi plants. not to mention, if it was that ripe with seed it would probably be split, not to mention the pistils wouldn't be sticking out of it (although the number of pistils is confusing. lol).

ive seen calyx's that were swollen the size of grapes with sticky gooey resin inside, not seeds. its strain dependent

the pic is of a single flower calyx that has 5 Pistils coming out of it..... I was arguing with Rusty about this being a potential sign of a herme plant since the same plant was generating "Nanners" (the other pic I posted in the thread above! ;) )
