help overwatering????

Hi i have a closet grow with 3 original skunk no 1 grown from seed but for some reason one of them has stopped growing (on on the left), and the others are starting to look like they are drooping.

I think it is over watering but not sure this is my first grow so any in put would be appreciated.

They are under a 150w envirogrow blue cfl about an inch away from the top of the plants.

There are 2 140mm silent running 600 rpm pc case fans for ventilation top and bottom

the temps are around 20-25 c

Humidity is a bit low at 50%

they are 3-4 weeks old

feeding them 1ml bio buzz grow per 1 liter of water

ok you said they are what 3-4 weeks old?

How often are you feeding them? The plants them selves look nice as hell. If they are dropping make sure the soil is moist and not soaked. between watering check to see if the soil is dry an inch down in the container. You may be over watering as you said in your title. If you are then let it dry out a little more between feedings. Meaning feed everyother day or every three days depends on how dry the soil is dont just look at the top of the soil. feel under it as well. The top will dry out before the under soil will.

Do you know what your soil PH is?

What kind of soil are you using?

let me know and we wold be further able to answer your questions. Knowing the whole story is better then part of it.

one more thing it also could be is ROOT BOUND. How big are thoes containers there in?

I would also swap plant location around to determine if it's something in the grow room. (swap tall for short and see if they grow different)

They look fine to me. I think its just the genetics of the strain.

Hi guys thanks for the advise erm i am growing in all mix.

I am feeding them really every 2-3 days when the soil seems to be at the right stage of dryness.

As far as the ph i was told that all mix it dosn't matter it should be all sorted because of the perlight and peat moss and what not in there maybe its just me being paranoid just really wanted a few ppl that know what they are doing having a look.

oh and i think they are in 6.5L containers i will be transplanting in the next few days just turned the other side of the closet with the double doors in sted of single into a flowering room so am planning to move and veg in there for the extra room just waiting on my fans atm

I grow with the same soil/nute system and have had some good success with it. You still have to be sure the Ph of the nute solution you are putting in is in the 6.5 range. If you are adding high Ph solutions, eventually the soil Ph will climb as well.

You need to know the Ph of your source water as well. I was able to mix my solution by the gallon with my tapwater and add 1ml Ph down to the mix and it came in at 6.5 consistantly. Your recipe may be different, just offering one example.

You still never replied with how much/often you are watering. I used the same size pots as in the picture and was watering about every third to fourth day. I also didn't do much feeding in veg, the All-Mix is fairly well fortified for young plants. I fed the hell out of em in flower, but that's another chapter.

I absolutely disagree with that advice.

pH affects the uptake of your nutrients, among other things. Pay close attention to it for continued success -- your plants look fantastic so far. :thumbsup:

Hi sorry i was jsut feeding them water for about 2 weeks then when they started to get a bit bigger i started feeding nuits i think i have only feed them nuits 2 or 3 times every 2 to 3 days i have jsut checked to see if they are damp 1 inch under the soil they feel a little damp so i am gonig to leave them for a 4th day and water them tomorrow at the start of there 5th day.

Oh right so they guy at the hydro shop was tlaking runnish then? ok well i have a cheap ph reader the one you stick 2 rods down into the ground it says 8 thats to alkali isnt it? i use normal tap water witch is 8 as well i take it i need to add some ph down to my mix?

"guy at the hydro shop" should be read as, "paid sales associate". People at the shop are there to sell you something and will bend the truth or omit facts to close a deal. Keep that tidbit in mind when asking their advice. Most of their solutions involve buying something new :thumbsup:

If your tap water is 8.0, what is the solution after you add nutrients?

The soil probe Ph meters suck IMHO. Never accurate. Learn to test your runoff, it will be the best indicator of what is going on in your container.
