Seedlings not doing so well....add GH nutes?
My seedlings arent doing so well in thier humidity dome, some are straggling and the others are doing well but have some yellowing of the leaves. I think I put a few too drops of superthrive after reading seedlings get one drop per gallon. I flushed them and put them under cfls instead of my 90 watt UFO. Now reading my GH 3 part flora nutes, its says seedlings and cuttings get nutes @ 1/4 tsp / gallon. I thought it was only distilled water and a drop of superthrive for the 1st two weeks?? Should I add nutes now or wait? Temps are 84-93 and humidity is 90%

looks like you could be experiencing heat stress. you need to work on your cooling/ventilation. the 84F is acceptable but beyond 90F might be a bit much for seedlings. these aren't established plants but delicate seedlings.
they don't require high humidity as they are seedlings and not clones. the humidity dome is used in cloning because when you take a cut, that cut transpires out all it's water without having roots to replace it. this is why clones wilt. this is also why you've (more than likely) seen clones with half of the leaf tips cut off.
so take the dome off and get the temps in check before deciding to feed any nutes.

They were getting too much nitrogen, enough to scorch them, but you've flushed, which was a good call...
Distilled water has incorrect mineral content for plants unless you're running calmag. Switch to tap water unless you KNOW your tap water sucks, and if so, you're going to need an EC meter and a bottle of calmag.
Rockwool needs to be soaked in a solution at pH 6 until it holds that pH stable... the factory sends the shit out at a pH too high for pot. You need to adjust it.
Water with tap water adjusted to pH 6-6.3. Are they going into dirt or dro? Dirt, leave the tops of the cubes EXPOSED so they dry fully between waterings and don't rot the stems, and as the roots grow out, you'll be letting the pH drift back to about 6.8 and leave it there. Dro, also make sure there's a drying cycle if you're running flood n drain, and keep the pH stable at 5.8-6ish. Don't forget that the babies need a minimum level of minerals.. calmag... ftw... :D

Thanks man I like this forum a lot. Good peeps around. So for sure take the dome off huh? Then what put them in my hydro system or just leave them like in the pics with the cfls over them? Yeah I can def get them to stay below 90. I think they were that hot bc of the dome. If I take the dome off, how often do I water or spray them? Thanks again. Way stoked about all this!

Another great post. Cool. Ok yes my tap is 1740 ppm. Ha horrible. I have to use bottled water. Suggestions? What about RO? Also dont my GH nutes have enough cal/mag to not have to use calmag supps? Yes they are hydro and yes I had my rockwool down to 5.5 before putting my germed babies in. Im doing a drip system.

Don't use any, your growing from seed. They have all they need to grow into plants all on their own. Flush now with distilled water and you might get lucky to keep them alive. Young need to promote them self's, the seed provides every thing they need to start them off just fine.

Make sure your bottled water is distilled, and that you have your calmag, rather than water bottled for drinking, in which case it doesn't have to conform to any specific conductivity standards and can have dissolved metals in it.
Damn your tap water is atrocious. You live in a SuperFund site or summin? Dag, yo. Can you even SHOWER in that or does it come out of the tap in a slurry?

Yeah we can shower fine, it takes some getting used to though. I woke up this morning to my girls all withered and dried up. Maybe the 90w ufo was too close? I soaked themwith 4.9 water just incase the ph was still too high and raised the ufo. Temp is now 83 and RH is 30%. Im having a hard time with these girls!
