8-10 is good for first time, smoke on it if you want.
I wouldn't take anymore than 16, or even 16 for that matter as it contains an active ingredient other than DXM (chlorpheniramine maleate) which does not mix well with DXM at higher doses.

Nah 6 pills is a pretty low dose.
