Yeah and so are nut job right-wing corporate mad scientists who need more sales of Tamiflu. Rumsfeld sees big legal fees on the horizon and needs a rise in stock price!!! :S2:Quote:

I seriously doubt we have much to worry about.
the interesting part to me is that humans have been known to get a flu virus from swine, but it almost never gets passed to another human!
weird. and they say evolution didn't happen.

And the Plaque wiped out around half of Europe's population, the point is, the news media is always causing fear over new "health risks." I forgot SARS.Quote:

86 people dead in Mexico so far... enough for me to worry about my family back in the States :(
the flu is a virus and cannot be cured. you can however make a vaccine (which gives a small crippled amount of the virus, which your body defeats). and since, like the chicken pox, you don't get a virus twice (normally, although yes, it does happen).
the media is owned, and therefore what is put on and how it is portrayed is merely a mis-construed, one-sided view (for the most part).
i mean watch your local news, i bet they don't even take breathes in between "horror" stories. i know my local news anchors don't.
and it's all a ruse to cover up the taking of our rights, money, or whatever else is beneficial for the powers to be.

Why? 86 isn't exactly a high death toll, not to mention he didn't even provide a link. What exactly does worrying accomplish? Do people enjoy being terrified? You can't do anything to protect them, so why start worrying about a pandemic. 86 deaths does not exactly constitute fear.Quote:
