Need help determining sex (yes I'm a noob)
1st time growing need help determining sex of my plants I am pretty certain I can tell the difference I just need some pro advice. Mainly because the biggest most beautifullest one in the closet looks male to me and it's going to make me cry to whack it. I set my camera to digital macro and got in as close as I could under the HPS... damn bulb makes for some challenges getting a good shot. If anyone can help but needs me to get a different angle of a shot than I took please let me know. I'm thinking first two pics female third pic male the fourth is a second pic of plant 3 the last pic is of all of them... the big beautiful bushy one is the one I am thinking is male. Oh some more details.... 250watt hps bulb plants are in miracle grow soil, and I am feeding them 15-30-15 about 1/3 of the indoor scooper mixed in tap water that sits out for about 24hours before it goes into the soil.

I can't tell yet. You will see the white hairs on gals. Can you take photo with HPS bulb off?

Camera is a canon sd750 I will check for the setting... EDIT... camera has this setting but my lights are off for the evening I will take a couple new pictures tomorrow morning and post them.
As for seeing "white hairs" am I looking for white hairs as in "pistils"?
I am about 9 or 10 days into the 12/12 light cycle... My biggest fear is I wait too long. After everything I have read on here I don't want to wait too long and end up with non-sensimilla ganj. Well, I don't want to not wait long enough and whack down a female either. Hmmmmm am I looking too hard too early?

Yes white hairs are pistils, I know everyone sez white hairs, white hairs, but when you see them you will know!
Don't worry about the males. They have balls. You can go quite a while before the balls mature and spread pollen. You will know when you see them and cut them down (pang) well before it's time.
I have found the biggest plants ususally always turn out to be male. If you have a hermie kill her too, everyone always wants to try and pick off all the balls, but it never works. LOL
Plants look good, but with all that yellow light hard to tell. I'll check in later when pics are up!

No. don't confuse "white flowering pistil hairs" with female preflower "hair".

Damn I hate sounding like an idiot, but are you saying that female plants have white hairs like on the stalk / stem before they flower (if so never read that before), or are you just telling me not to confuse those little white hairs all over my plants stalk / stems at the nodes right now for pistils.
