Police took my Ounce.

After buying an ounce from H.C.R. i decided to go buy a bong from venice, i get to venice, pull into those small alleys and little did i know i was going the wrong way and 2 police officers pulled me over for going the wrong way, so i open my window and my marijuana was in my back seat in my backpack, the officer asks me if im carrying any marijuana on me because he said it was a REALLY strong smell and i said yes sir i have my medical card, show it to him and he opens my back door and im like woo hey, so i did him the favor and pulled out my ounce from my backpack, he took it then placed me in hand cuffs and gave me a ticket for going the wrong way and for possession of marijuana, he KEPT my medication and now i'm bummed, I'm gonna have to appear in court to get the marijuana charges dropped, but what about my marijuana?? do i get it back??

IMHO bullshit man! Fuck that, they shouldn't of voted to have medical cards if they didn't want patients running around with medicine. I hope you get your weed back in the condition you had it.. They shouldn't of taken it in the first place. Makes me wonder if the police ever give a shit about medical cards or just arrest anyone and have the judge sort it out???

i think thats the case man, cuz he told me to appear in court and talk to the judge..fucking assholes man, i'm trying to get ahold of someone at the court house to see what i can do, called some lawyers for some advice but none of them answered their phones

DAMN THAT FUCKIN SUCKS. i go to HCR pretty much every day. live like 2 streets away across teh street from jerries delly neer topanga. but yea bro fuckin fag ass cops, my homie just got some from another homie going to HPRC, they got tailed from the club all the way to shadowranch park, in canoga. they rolled them and my homie with the card got a felony for selling to minors, so yea cops are bitches when it comes to burning people when they can. if u around the area hit me up, we can maybe blaze up. i know id want someone to share there meds with me if a cop confiscated all of my meds jsut cuz he is a pig and thinks hes got that authority.... but yea, try there 707 master OG from HCR, shit is the fire. and there bling OG for 55 is amazing too.

What you need to do is get a lawyer as well as the doctor whom prescribed the medication and bring them to court and get yourself cleared. Secondly DEMAND your medication back in the condition you had it, which it wont be...itll be older and dry, so instead demand to be reimbursed for the hard earned money you spent on your medication. Would a LEO take oxycontin from an old man if he saw the pill bottle in the car, i think not. Why do they take away medication from legit users with a legal license to use it, its the SAME THING. Oxycontin is illegal for non prescribed users to carry around just like MJ and you need a prescription for both to be legal. Most LEO are uneducated about MMJ and the laws surrounding it so they get scared, ticket you, and make you go trough this whole unnecessary process. Its our job as patients to educate them on our rights as Americans and card holders. Don't let them push you around if it ever happens again, let them know you have the law on YOUR SIDE and that you are prepared to take them to court for basically stealing your medication.

heres the thing with the law with mmj, the state gov in cali is chill with it, totally legal. BUT the Federal government is not.. and techniqually they got more power cuz they are like the USA government rather than the California government. The law says that the RX bag has still got to be stapled, un opened, and concealed (i think the trunk but idk) until u get home and it is to stay at your house.... that is the law =/... you come across asshole cops like that one, they can pretty much do whatever they want unless its in your trunk, because it is against federal law, but the victim will probably get cleared in court.... Other cops on the other hand will go out of there way to protect it because it is legal in state law. like there was a police station that stood outside a dispensery that was about to get raided by feds a few years back and they ended up protecting the club from being shut down. ive also seen and heard cops giving people (minors included) herbals/pieces back with no ticket. still though most cops are faggot fucking pigs that need to be shot execution style, but there are some tight ones. so yea thats pretty much how it is... My friend got pulled over for speeding with a Pringles Potato Chip can full of skunk....The cops took it.... gave him a ticket for speeding, sent him on his way.

2 weeks later he gets another ticket in the mail for possesion of MJ but only for a 1/8.......he swears it was 38 gs
