Is there a dispensary in Washington
I am new to this site and also new to the medical marijuana thing... I was wondering is there a dispensary anyone knows about in the Vancouver, WA area that I can access with my medical card?
Or, if not, does anyone know where to get it while I wait for the ones we are growing to mature?
Thanks for your help!

Dispensaries are illegal in Washington. There was a couple in Seattle but they got busted a couple years ago. You're kind of on your own in Washington. You either have to grow your own or hit the black market.

Maybe head over to PDX , probably have more luck on that side of the bridge.

There are PLENTY. Gotten clones, and green from them plenty of times. When you get your medical card they give you a large list. If you already have your medical, call the THCF or, other card providers and ask for an updated list.
EDIT: Looking at my list I see that there is one in Vancover.

you can legally buy from another authorized MMJ patient, you can even buy off the street and there are no repurcussions, only for the dealer...

This is not correct... The buying and selling of marijuana is not legal in Washington state [medical or otherwise] [it is tolerated in some counties]
A medical marijuana patient may obtain marijuana in 2 legal ways...from growing it themselves... or by designating a Provider. [This means the Provider can give the Patient medical marijuana... not sell it to them]
If you get caught in a deal [money exchange] you will depending on where you live in Washington have to defend yourself in court... then it's up to judical discretion
Quoted from "A Guide for Patients and Physicians"
Patients are not allowed to give away, distribute or sell marijuana under any circumstances to anyone. Any evidence of such distribution puts a person at very high risk. The Medical Marijuana Act defense will not work for someone who distributes or sells any amount of marijuana, because the new law applies only to a patientā??s personal medical supply. If prosecutors discover evidence of sale or distribution, they can charge a person with felony counts that could result in years of prison time, regardless of that personā??s medical condition or medical authorization to use marijuana.
Taken from Washington State Medical Marijuana Act - A Guide
A Provider has the same rules preventing sells...

Any transaction between a patient and provider should be done under the donation process. The donation is to cover the expense of producing the medicine and providing it. No harm, no foul really.
And face the facts, some day soon, not to far off, the sale of marijuana or cannabis if you prefer, will be tolerated. How many speakeasys were really busted during prohibition? People who want access to something usually keep quiet about it unless they are a rat bastard!
Soon private cannabis clubs who offer amenities, just like private liquor clubs will be popping up like weeds. Pun intended. Just you wait and see. :smokin:
