My older brother used to listen to Bob Alot,I never really had an intrest until I started burning, the it was Bob All day and night, lol, not anymore,I listen to alot of reggae and I still love Bobs Music.
Especially Stir it up.Im sure thats a Song about Smoking out of your pipe, all the talk about pushing wood and blazing fire and satisfying your hearts desire.lol
Even "Jammin",s you can hear him cleaning his pipe in the song, with the little "clink-a-clink-a-clink" sound like he's tapping his pipe on a table followed by that swiping sound like he's dusting off the remnants.
I enjoy both the music and the message behind it. Sober or high, its all good.
I think he is pushing a differnt kind of "wood." Ha ha! The literal lyrics are about him and his girl cooking something and stiring a pot, but I'm pretty sure the double meaning is that they are getting it on.Quote:

Yeah i feel you on this. I dont even like riding in a car listening to his stuff i wanna chill on a couch or something and listen to his jams.
I got into Marley before I started smoking and really enjoy the music. I started from the Legend CD then just went to a music shop and bought 4CDs of his music dirt cheap!
I could listen to soul shakedown party all day!
I do agree it's music that you can sort of fade and chill to, but i've been at a few parties were we got up a danced to the music.

After dancing to jamming ages ago, three of us decided to chill and smoke up on this nice wooden bench...which ended up collapsing.
Yeah pretty much what most others have said, I love him when I'm sober, and he just gets that so much better when I'm blazed..He's done so much for our culture aye
