A small question about my vape
Currently I'm using the vapir one vape with the water tool you get. The question is about the use of it:
I'm setting the fan to the lowest setting and putting the temp to 204. By drawing from the water tool it's quite cool when I inhale it and when I am inhaling the temp hovers around 210 to 230 at most. Admittedly if it does reach the high temp it does start burning and I calm down a bit :D I do get really fucked doing it this way so I don't really know why I'm asking this but is what I'm doing, sound about right to everyone?:wtf:
The temps are in *C, sorry if I'm talking gibberish but I'm really smoked
Thanks,

200 C is hotter than you need. Lots of toxins at that temp. 230 is near combustion. You might as well smoke. Don't know how accurate your display readouts are, but if your leftovers are black the reading may be pretty accurate. If I were you I'd leave the water tool off (to avoid the variable) and find your lower vaping range. Even with a display you want to find the lowest point where you get good vapor, as well as the burn point (black remains-not bursting into flame), and use a happy medium temp.
A small question about my vape
Hey, I'm using a Vapir One as well. The most helpful advice I've ever heard is take a look at your leftovers. I've been going from 180 to 190 and then all the way up to 204. The herb that comes out looks mildly green with a slight yellow at 180, light brown/yellow at 190, and dark brown with a little yellow at 204. I'm getting used to it all too, but vapefiend is right about the toxins. I'm thinking I'm going to stick with 190, cause that gets me floating without all the throat irritation from toxins.

190 C is a good temp. If any herb is still green afterwards, you might try mixing it up and revaping. Throat irritation is from the dry air. Depending on the vape and the vapor/air ratio, you'll get that to some degree no matter what your vaping temp is.
A small question about my vape
I have/had a Voodoo vaporizer....
which is the exact same thing as a Vapir One. As a matter of fact it's just a Vapir One that's been rebranded as Voodoo.
I always found this vaporizer to be extremely inefficient and slow. The temps were never consistent. While 200C is too much for your quality vaporizer.. I found that I had to set it to the max setting of 400F which is like 200-204C in order to efficiently vaporize. Even then there was alot of waste with this product.
So to answer your question, in my own personal opinion with this product, I feel you setting the temperature to the maximum 204C is the correct way to do it.

I wondered how accurate a $150 digital vape could be. Inaccurate and inefficient. Thanks for the info.
A small question about my vape
I have been using a friend Vapir One for about two months now. I don't know what version it is as the lettering has been rubbed off and is at least 2 years old. While it is inefficient and wastes some vapor, it still gets the job done pretty well. Would I recommend buying one? not really only b/c an herbalaire is $100 more and worth the extra money.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... I wouldn't go so far as to call this vape inaccurate and inefficient. It's an excellent alternative to the Volcano. Some of us just don't have 600 dollars to blow on a high-quality vape like that. The Vapir One works magnificently. I've been using much less than ever before and smoking much more than before. It's a matter of getting used to it, two weeks into it and you have a specific temperature and a method down to using it. The temperature fluctuation shouldn't deter you that much from this product unless you're doing scientific experiments or something.

I respectfully disagree. I own several vaporizers and this was the worst of the bunch.
I would recommend a vapolution over this thing.
I smoke several grams a day throughout the day. It's not a matter of getting used to it; it's simply the quality of the product. Being that I own a vapolution, Voodoo (vapir air one), herbalaire, Volcano, and a brothers.. and have tested several others through friends. The Vapir Air one was the worst one.
Cost for Cost I would recommend a vapolution over the vapir air one.. and the entire chamber is all glass as opposed to plastic. Making for a nicer smoke.
It is also $150
A small question about my vape
I love the vapir one it gets me fucking ripped! While it does work its still not that great of a vape. The metal coil heating element leaves a bad taste in my mouth, while its not horrible it is noticeable. The plastic case gets extremely hot while vaping, and god knows how many chemicals are seeping out. Air leaks out around the tray that holds the bowl. Also I do believe the temps are inaccurate, I highly doubt it puts out 400F.
