my last plant didn't do this, but this plant has alot more bud sites
thats not mold i see is it? :(
Might just be my vision kinda boggly with this HPS on next to me :-)
Although the plant I had usually gets bigger before the lower leaves dry out and fall off I'd consider it normal if you can account for nutes, mold, insects, etc.
Good luck with it homes,

PS: I have read many grow logs where plants inexplicably start dropping lower leaves and putting their energy into new leaves, have your plants been stressed at all?
no mold or insects
it's got 4 weeks left and hasn't been stressed
thnx for quick reply
anyone else know?
hopefully it's the plant just drawing needed energy due to to many bud sites
doing some research it could be nitrogen or magnezium deficiency
i'll see what you guys reckon first
maybe some epsom salts will help
unless it's normal this stage of flowering
hey dude, no probs, I know it's normal for the lower leaves to fall off for some strains during flowering, if it is just a few you should be OK, most growers will say keep an eye on it and see how things go, if it gets worse consider the salts.Quote:

Careful with epsom salts. It's easy to overdo an then lock out everything else with a salt build up. Looks like N def.
What nutes are you currently using???
I had the same issue that started right about the time you are now, I dont know for sure the reasons as it could be many but the nutes generally have less nitrogen for flowering which looks like the case. IMHO, if it is only on the lower leaves and all you see is the n def. i wouldnt worry about it too much. It looks really good though and i wouldnt change too much.
