VERY interesting experience and now I feel so relieved.
please elaborate friend..
Well...I went there sort of expecting some shady sort of operation (ashamed to say now but it's the truth) and came away amazed and with some whole new ideas to think about and try. These people were EXTREMELY knowledgable in my opinion.....not only about cannabis but about medicine and the human body as well and could back up what they said with documented paperwork. I was VERY impressed by the entire experience and my hubby made his mmj appt on the spot.!
congrats
Hi there weedhound, Can you please tell us the name of the doctor you went too?
It was Dr Marion Fry in Nor CA. I've been aware of her legal issues from the news etc and that's probably why I expected something shady-ish. I ended up seeing a PA whom I quite liked and felt was very knowledgable and who gave me tons of great info about medical cannabis that I didn't know existed.
I had to bring a copy of my medical records and she studied those very carefully and asked all sorts of questions etc. I definitely got the feeling that these folks were there for my health and nothing shady about it. I also spoke to a few other people waiting and that changed my view as well.
As I said....I left there quite impressed and with the realization that I AM out of date! Time for change. :)
PS....they also made sure that you as a patient were aware of the legal issues they had going......I felt they were extremely open and wanted to make sure I was completely informed.
do you know the requirements to get "legal"?
Drive to clinic, stub toe on pavement outside of clinic, walk inside complaining about your stubbed toe and boom!
I kid, I kid but most places in Cali don't require any type of accompanying medical records. You're the patient, you're the one seeking treatment. If you have something that ails you, the doctor will diagnose you on the spot so you may get treatment.
I was really excited at first too! Really just relieved that I didn't have to "worry" about using medical marijuana. Then 5 days after I got my recomendation I realized that it didn't mean squat, and that is my current opinion. Please feel free to read the link in my signature and find out why. No matter how sick, what you are doing, no matter how "Legal" you think you are, you are an outlaw to our federal government. Go ahead please read the link!
