i've made peace with the river many times
And I remembered thinking that I've already accomplished much in life,
I could easily die with a feeling of completeness.
Seems like many people fear death out of a fear of separation from themselves,
and I can understand that because I have been there before.
However, if one is to transcend such self-focused superstitions,
then happiness will emerge in it's most idyllic form.
It's true: I've made peace at the river many times.
But as soon as I leave the river,
that peace only returns on varied and random occassions.

Interesting,I don't understand it completely though.

Thanks, I don't know if I understand it completely either.

Sounds like its time for another bowl or three... plenty more contemplating to be done, sir. Always nice to try and find peace with yourself. I have done so and my inner peace is leading me to serve my country, the USA. I leave in a week for basic training and I love the fact that cannabis is what got me there, and almost kicked out. I have sat at my spot on Pensacola Beach (see image) for hours and hours alone and with someone. This is what smoking cannabis is about in depth, more spiritual than OMFG YOUS GUYS IM SOO STONED. Not saying I don't enjoy a good bake session myself, but I've been preparing my mind and moral for the military for three years, then continuing my life onward from there. I will be 23 when I get out... What do I have to lose? What not? These are the kinds of questions I ask myself while I'm in thinking while high mode.

the river is a good place to reflect. If I remember correctly, the river is the actual source of enlightenment for siddhartha...its a book about the man named Siddartha, he leaves his home with the Brahmins and attempts to seek nirvana for himself. At the end...he is looking into the river when he finally gains his enlightenment.
Im sure its fictional but it still has a lot of meaning

Rivers make me ramble.
Straight and crooked, old and new.
