I have....Well close to it, and it really sucks. They just don't understand that it's my decision and if I'm not forcing it on them, and I'm not high around them, and since there's been studies done that prove that is not as harmful to your lungs as cigarette's or as addictive, they shouldn't care.
Oh well, share your experience's, and smoke a joint my brother's and sister's! :jointsmile::rasta::pimp::stoned:
I've lost friends over far more trivial things. A true friend will not totally abandon you if they disagree with something you do, and will usually try to show you that they're genuinely concerned for your wellbeing. With something like pot where you can explain your side of the story well and show it's a minimal 'risk' (in the gamut of things a friend might advise against doing), a good friend will never go beyond a stage where you both 'agree to disagree', if you will, about the issue. Both parties can make efforts to not irritate the situation... I have very good friends who are against tobacco, alcohol, and weed, and we're still friends, but I do my best not to even have a cigarette at all while I'm with them. I doubt they would still want to be my friend if I spent all my time trying to force them to accept or try any of those three drugs.
I haven't really lost friends but it has affected me as far as living situation in the past year. I was gonna have a guy i work with move in with me after my lease was up with another guy i worked with. So we had the new lease all signed and ready to go when it was time. So my current roomate and his girlfriend are all set to move into their own place when the lease is up. He's cool with pot and she's not and she went around complaining to the neighbors and the apartment manager that the house smelled like pot all the time and she didn't want anything to do with it. Thats cool but i never did anything in the house...only in my room....and its MY business. Well eventually word gets to the guy i was gonna room with and now he says he won't room with me cause he doesn't wanna be around pot. This fucking bitch has ruined me in the place i was staying and I had to find a new place to live...when i could have stayed put.
Not that i know of, or can remember. If someone has a problem with me smoking, i'll lamp em and watch them run away.
No, because they're not real friends. I've lost a girlfriend who meant the world to me because she doesn't like the herb or that i smoke it. So that was great :D Allow non stoner chicks... What i will say is that she did give me a chance and was with me for 6 months tho, so i won't forget that. I never talked with her about weed, only once or twice, she just didn't understand and wasn't interested, said: i don't need a substance to be happy. At least she gave me a chance, i told her that if she really liked me then she wouldn't try and change me but take me as who i am. She did but we're too different. So yes i've lost a person that meant a lot to me because i consume cannabis, that's life, it's my life, it's my choice.
i have not cos theyve disaproved of me smoking it but its them that became greedy, selfish, actors. and for that ive told em to fuck off, but still i wish i still knew some of em. its sad really people you think you know let you down so badly for such stupid reasons. but you cant let em back, its weak.,
