i know i should, but i don't ph water for cuttings and i do fine. i don't use tap water though. i always use r/o.
r/o ?
reverse osmosis.......type of filtered water..........my clones root just fine from my tap water.
If your using a humidity dome and a tray? Just take a gallon of water and leave the top off for 24 hours. Then you use this water to mist your cuttings and water If ya know about making willow water.Your gonna have to use a rooting hormone.Greenlight works well. I might have not answered your question.:stoned:
Ga Grown!
yup i have humidity dome+tray+clonex+rockwool cubes... where can i get this reverse osmosis water from?
R/O water is sold in machines at supermarkets. You bring our own bottle, put $.25 in the machine, ect.Quote:

You can get the Greenlight rooting hormone Ga Grown mentioned at Lowe's for about $4.00. I would recommend getting some.

would superthrive work as a rooting hormone?
No.All that is gonna do is treat it for shock. It's not a hormone at all. I find that the powder hormones work better than most gels. The gels work. But, that is just from my own experiences. You can use whatever your budget lets you use. Forget the reverse osmosis water.Remember the 24 treatment! Not to make anyone mad when I say that. Just use the water from your tap or buy distilled. It's like 59 cent a gallon.A gallon of water should have those cuttings rooting in about 10 to 14 days.:jointsmile:Quote:
