pics always help. if they are near a foot in height, it would be fine to start flowering id think. some plants will show preflowers, some wont. i start mine at 4 weeks typically
A lot of people initiate flowering then the plant is a foot tall, or larger. Many others will flower when the nodes go alternating, as this indicates that the plant is close to sexual maturity. Others keep on vegging until preflowers are clearly visible. There are plenty of ways to determine when to flower, and different people use different methods.
It's really up to you, but just remember, if you flower too early, you'll risk the chance of severely diminishing your yield. If space is an issue, you could think about a SoG or a SCRoG grow. Also, LST works well to keep height down and production up with the light/space available.
Good luck to ya!
in some strains, a foot can be pretty tall. id suggest either at 10-12 inches, or at 4-5 weeks growing, whichever comes first. (may be different if your plants are stretching for light, since theyre abnormally tall)
Well, they aren't even close to 12 inches. The biggest one is,maybe 4 inches tall.I just want to find my females, and get the males out,and then transplant the females into individual pots. They aren't anything special, just a local Indica strain, that got me ripped. Thanks for the input.PEACE
they look happy, but they need the leaf debris removed, its not that great to have in there.
youv got another 2 weeks easily to go before considering flower
ok,thanks for the input.PEACE
Transplant now before it's too late.
how are they lit? they seem a little small for 4-5 weeks
Well, they aren't getting much light.I have them in a little wooded area,in the yard.I can't transplant that many plants, because that would be way too many individual pots, and that increases my chances of getting caught. All I want is 2 females out of them,so I'll let them grow together, until they show their sex,and then transplant my females in to individual pots.I can get away with 2 females, but 10 individual plants,in 10 individual pots, will be impossible to hide.I always have a good transplant rate, and never loose a single plant,so I'm not worried about that.I'll keep you guys posted with the outcome.PEACE
