Is it worth it to get a kief press?

I got a grinder recently and it seems like kief presses don't cost too much. So, should I get one? Is it really that much better than just putting the kief directly from the grinder into the piece (or whatever else)?

There's a tutorial on this site that shows that you can press the kief by putting it about a dime sized baggy, and beating the everloving shit out of it with a hammer. Looked like it produced good results. Of course, I may be remembering the thing wrong...I'm stoned as hell.

if it is a small amount, like the dime size thing, i put it in my wallet. your body heat will allow it to "melt" and the constant pressure from sitting on your ass wil bond it nicely

The kief presses I have seen on the net look like something you could make out of a little screw on pill key chain and a dowel inside of it, but I also think kief preses are made of special metal so the kief wont stick. But either way I think a press is less than 10 buck so I would say go for it.

ya go for the kief press. it's the shit. or you can put all ur kief in ur bowl put some tin foil on top put the lighter on the foil and then press the kief into the bowl with a spoon handle. it works just as well and then you have your bowl packed too,

i got one and it is the best $5 that i have ever spent!

i usually just sprinkle the kief onto a bowl every now and then.

it's only worth it if you get it for like 10 bucks on ebay

the 30 dollar head shop price is nuts

I think roor's website had a press in their grinder section for under 10 but it would probably be more if it were shipped from Germany.

imo, no, unless you smoke silly ammounts. think skimming off the kief just detracts from every smoke.
