Does this look ok?

I started working on a grow box well cabinet that in all costs around $200. I have pictures to go with it.

contains:

8 - CFL compact fluorescents 23w 100w equivalent 2700k
4 - CFL fluorescents t8 tubes 17w 75w equivalent 6400k
2 - CFL fluorescents t4 tubes 8w unknown equivalent 3100k

need to work on air flow next. have to have doors open and fan on them to keep cool enough. Don't want dead plants ya know. Cabinet is also being used for all storage of nutes, spare bulbs, soil, and other related hardware, including all my smoking apparatus.

What should be added and what should be removed. So far I have a total of around 1100watts but am only consuming 268watts.

what kind of cooling should I use and where should it be located in the cabinet? Also I do know I need air inlets so air flow can be made.

here are some pics of this so far. I have not hidden wires yet nor is this completed. Just looking for some advice on what else should be done.

another thing is the hood I made is not complete either. I ran outta time to finsih it completely it is now almost 3am and I need some sleep but I wanted to post before I went to bed. and see if anyone had anything to say.

oh yeah and another thing is this cabinet stands 6' high and was purchased from walmart for $40. Larger then I though when it was put together. So far with my buget this is all I could afford to do so far.

Can wait to see what this box will do for me compared to my other box that I made from Plexiglas.

what are the dimensions on that cabinet? is it plastic? I was just at walmart today looking for a cabinet but didn't see anything like that. Seems like a good size especially for 40 bucks

it is plastic takes 10 mins to snap together. its 69x24x18 around there anyway. its made by sterlite. the dimentions are not exact I am at work on my phone so. but that's pretty close.

i think that should work great man. if i was you i would line the inside of that tub, your lights are in, in something reflective.

I planned on doing that. just ran outta time last night. I will be working on ventlation and the rest of the stuff tonight after work.

Here is my cab now. I added the fan duct. Paint can and a 9" fan with wire screen removed. So far works well. A lot better then without I know that. Temp stayin around 80 - 84 degrees. Want it lower yet but I need to increase my air intake first to see if that helps at all.

included some pics of the fixture as well. I cut the sides out and made room for air to flow threw. also added foil to the fixture as well a load brighter now.

also just watered after taking pictures. Started looking a little droppy.

Yes and there was stretch but dong alright now. I let them grow without the light being right on them so I have to fight with that till they at least get bigger but supports will still be needed throughout there life but that ok. That can be accomplished easily.

dude if ur using passive intakes remember that they need to be 5x larger than extraction

if ur using active intake then make sure the intake fan is at lower speed to maintain negative pressure within the drobe


will u be using a carbon filter?

eventually I will be upgrading this yes. This is just for now case I am broke.
