what do you think of gossip?

Imo, gossip is horrible...

Well, I mean, it is a sin, so yeaaaaah....

It's one of the main reasons I stay away from church. Most I've been to is nothing but a gossip gathering once a week.

People that do gossip naturally piss me off, but hey, I guess if they're talking about me I'm either doing something right, or something horribly wrong haha. ~

It is a vile hateful thing that destroys friendships, relationships, and lives. It seriously just grows and has a life of its own. This is why I don't get along with girls my age. Cause of this bullshit. Agh.

ya that shit pisses me off. i mean i dont really care either way cause i know people will do that shit regardless what i think i just tend to avoid people who do it to much or at all if possible. so ya i voted second option dont care

Well, I heard that someone on this forum thinks you're gossipy, but I don't remember who. I don't think that, of course, but I thought you'd like to know.

I like talking about whats going on with friends and stuff but its never like, hateful and malicious usually. Its usually just stuff like, "hey guess who got a new girlfriend? Yeah shes cool, not that bright but still fun."

I agree, Rebgirl. There's a big difference between talking about stuff going on in peoples lives( friends,family), and malicious, mean gossip. Society is based on knowing whats going on around you. It helps keep our culture going and growing.
It's what separates us from the hermits!

To me it's a bore to talk about really anything anyone's doing. Jobs, kids, activities; my eyes glaze over when someone talks about it. A common situation for me is not even knowing what my friends' jobs are even though they talk to me about it. I'd rather discuss ideas and collective truths in an outwardly-focused manner. it's the only thing worth my time

i dont really care about gossip. it depends on what is being talked about. if it is a girl one of us scored with hell yes i want to hear about it.

if it is drama at work or a bunch of bullshit keep it to yourself...gossip is okay as long as it isnt malicious. im a dude and i cant stand it when girls gossip about everything.

i talk about what is going on, parties, bbqs and stuff but i also have an internal life believe it or not;)
