what's the easiest to clone?
I'm just curious to hear how everyone does their cloning... I'm looking for the easiest ways to see if any of them are easier then mine... Remeber work smarter not harder...
Anyway, I use a small tupperware container with a piece of B & W polly stretched over the top. I then poke 20 holes "numbered" in the top, fill it with tap water, and drop in a air stone.
I've had almost 100% success with this. but am wondering if there may be any better way.

That's a pretty simple cloner, cool!
I just use rapidrooter plugs and dip-n-gro under a humidity dome. Also very simple and near 100% survival. You can then put them in almost any type of system or soil- I don't know about aero though, I've never seen it done.

well, I don't know if this would be a aero, but when I used to grow many more plants I made this cloner and it worked 100% I don't think I ever had a clone fail...

I taught my wife how to clone. Now I kick back and watch her do it. :D
...but, short of that, you probably have the second easiest way I've ever heard of to make clones.

I use an airstone under rapidrooters in my bubble-cloner, humidity dome :smokin:

I use pure perlite and just fill a clear container with some water in the bottom. It has no moving parts. Yet, aero cloning in straight water is about as easy as it gets.

I am just starting to look into cloning as I have an ultra vigorous and thriving plant I want to clone for future generations. Do you have to have some kind of special chemical to get the clones to grow roots or can you just put them in water? I will most likely put the clones in rockwool for easy transplanting into my E&F system. If you need chemicals, what are some brand names I should look out for?

bad idea using a clear container, roots are killed by light rather quickly ... :smokin:

I use Clonex + 1 drop of Superthrive/gallon. I mix the Clonex at 5ml/liter. I use the $4/bottle rooting powder from Lowe's. If you use rockwool, be sure to condition the cubes before you use them.

I'm 'off' Clonex, since it goes bad too fast, WELL before I use up the whole tiny $20 bottle...
Dip-n-Grow is IMHO the best rooting compound, hands down, that most of us will ever find at a grow shop.
