How can we as members, help the site?
In lieu of the depletion of cannabis.com members, I think one of the best things we can do to improve the site is to encourage friends and family to join through word of mouth. Personally, I'd hate to see lost faith in this community, but would feel partially responsible, as any site can only be as enjoyable as it's members.
Im kinda' looking for both moderation and member perspectives on ways to replenish any positivity to this site that may or may not have been lost throughout the recent changes. Thanks:D

Well this site is about cannabis and some if not all of your family might not know you smoke weed a lot of people dont agree with it, also quite a lot of people might not have the internet or have time to post here, I think we already have a lot of members but it could never hurt to have any more.

NEVER invite friends and family here....You will lose your anonymity and be sorry for it...They will read your deepest thoughts, your escapades and possibly judge you on those....this is YOUR board, no theirs...

Well it depends on the family really to be honest some families can be really open but to be honest I dont see a father mother daughter and son posting here its highly unlikely and most parents are too busy anyway.

I'll get my parents posting. Hahaha, my old man wouldnt care what i have to say. Infact, he's worse than me. I'd have to get them a new computer though - and i'm not splashing out on that. Maybe we can get the net on their old piece of shite.

Anyone looking up cannabis on the internet will run into this site. If we keep interesting posts going, then lurkers will read and sign up.

I DO agree that's an important aspect to keep in mind.
On the other hand, I just feel like we have a great environment here at cann.com and should all put forth our best efforts to not only sustain, but improve the quality for our members. Am I just not explaining myself well???

Personally, I'm not in the financial position to donate cash, I'm just trying to atleast get people thinking in the direction of "what can we do to improve our community."

Along the lines of a paypal deal, what about creating "bonus" features for a very reasonable fee? I'd send my $9.99 a month, in exchange for some foolish "extras.":thumbsup:
