1 x 90 degree pvc pipe = Light proof intake duct
use pantyhose and an elastic band on the outside so bugs dust and other unwanteds stay out.
what type of material are you goin to use for the walls, maybe the white/black material or ply
darkroom louvers
Thanks you for the input. I'll post pictures of my project soon.
I've framed a small cabinet and was going to use the black/white material, but plywood would add some strength for hanging my intake / outtake duct. I think I 'll use a 50/50 mix.
Darkroom louvers ? please explain.
Duh... Google search. boy, do I feel dumb.
I'll post some pictures, then you'll be impressed. It's going to be nice.
darkroom louvers are a way to get fresh air in without light leaks
very small compared to pvc fresh air vents
im tryin to think of the strongest yet smallest material i can use to make one
hope this helps:stoned:
pics are from crazywill
Is it easier to try and make one or go down to the local hydro store and buy one?
dont know if they have
go to amazon or ebay and you can get them fairly cheap
I think I like the idea of using 90 pvc and maybe adding a little extension to keep out stray light....
I've also been toying with adding a small a/c unit or co2. Overkill ? Both would be a great source for fresh air.
