i cant really see because the light is reflecting off the aluminum in the background could u put a darker background behind the plant so it emphasizes the plant more so we can getter a better view
You need to take a close up pic of the top of the plant, we need to be able to see where the leaf stem meets up with the main stalk.
looks like a male but idk i dont know much
Generally, you should refrain from using aluminum as a reflective for the light source, as it actually doesn't do much. Instead, you should take that off and either paint the walls white or put in some reflective mylar along the walls.
Second, to determine the sex, you must take a magnifying glass and take a picture of the top of the plant, and pictures where the stems meet the stalks, and post it up here. That plant actually looks young. What lights are you using, and how old is it? What are you feeding it with? How long does it get light each day? Do you know what strain it is?
Yea, its only like 2 months old. I'm using a plant light for it I think 250watts. I feed it with Fish Emotion. 12hr light cycle. Its from a plant people call nugget up here. Brick to Swag to Nugget to Ooh La La. I think its a female because there are hundreds of long white hairs coming from little round things. On the male pictures I looked at, I couldn't see any white hairs. Thanks for the quick reply guys, I'm extremely new at growing. (Municipal use all the way.)
P.S. Where can I find mylar?
Well, I don't know much about growing but I can tell you this: It's not both.
Your plant is super stretched...
yea, first plant, not sure how to grow it, been looking at tons of things online about growing it, lack of funds is a better reason I suppose. Its been transplanted WRONG like 5 times. Why do they stretch? Light too far away or something?
Stretching can be because your light is too far away (although you haven't mentioned the kind of light you're growing it under - MH/HPS?), but it could also be because of the strain (which I'm not familiar with).. BUT.. you definitely need to repot it into something larger.
Just my 2c.
Good luck anyway!
