just a hint for all of you cookin/bake`n with MJ

i read a lot of good stuff in here some im gion to try out myself
but nearly all of you make the same misstake
DONT EVER USE SUGAR WHEN USING MJ IN FOOD/CAKES/DRINKS

the raeson is that it fuckes up your high
sugar/sugary products neutrilises the THC levels therfore i allways use honey or fruit to sweeten things up with.

try this one out if you do not belive in it
one day you dont eat anything with sugar at all
have a smoke munch some sugarfree candy or something instead
next day use same amount of weed and try it out with real sugar products and feel the effect yes your high lasts longer without sugar:thumbsup:

no i dont even know why sugar acts like that but i read it once and tryed it out
as with all other things i read i was skeptic at first but it actualy worked.

so if you or anyone els can find out why i wanna know and i will try to find out about the artificial stuff aswell:thumbsup:

i think it has to do with the energy we get from sugar like when im
monster baked i allways eat lots of sugary things and some time after the high takes of bit by bit

this is in danish but is taken from a somewhat big site here.

it states: if you somehow feel ill from to much smoke, the sugar will help you get back to normal
(note it will not recover you if you are poisoned from over doing it)

Take a breather. Get some fresh air. It's not like hard drugs or alcohol. Stop for a bit and you'll regain control. Juice or something sweet is great. A bowl of soup is also good.

As far as the post, I always order something sweet to drink with my 1st purchase in the Dam. My squeaky clean system just isn't prepared!

A question for the poster---did the "drink something sweet" thing work? I hear it all the time. The booklets in the shops tell you to do it. The booklet by the cops tells you to do it. The shop owners will tell you to do it. But I wonder........

1) If sweet drinks sober you up, why do the shops sell so many of them? That's like a mandatory drink of thorazine at the acid bar, or a mandatory cold shower and long nap at a tavern.

2) Have I been killing my buzz all these years? I drink a coke or Pepsi when doing bong hits all the time. Has this been counter-productive? Now I'm all paranoid about killing my buzz......Munchies=sweet stuff. Would I be higher without the sweets?

3) Through what mechanism does the sugar sober you up? Does it change your body's ability to metabolize THC? Or is this just a standard "calm down and stop 'noiding" sort of advice?

1) Shops sell so many of them because they need them. There are enough people who overindulge as it is, imagine if they didn't have sweets to help sober up clients. Also, if people are drinking these and sobering up a bit, guess what. They smoke more! As well as buy more drinks. It is the same principle as absurdly salty popcorn at movie theatres. Eat a tub of it and you are going to need some liquid refreshment.

2) I think the reason why your munchies=sweet stuff is because your body craves it. Perhaps you have reached a level of THC saturation and your system is trying to balance it out. Perhaps your blood sugar has taken a dip and you need some quick correction. Maybe you have a sweet tooth? Perhaps it is a combination of all three.

-Some pundits claim that prolonged use of cannabis leads to paranoia. Now you are paranoid about killing your buzz. Coincidence?

3)I have been told that sweets will effect the way the chemicals interact in your system to a certain degree. However, that effect is relatively small. It is more probable that the sobering effect comes more from your body's reaction to sugars rather than sugar's effect on THC
