Well first you'll want to post these kinds of threads in the politics section. But I'm sure it'll be moved shortly.
Anywhoo, I don't think right now, even if he is pro-legalization, he can risk taking a strong stance one way or another if he wants any chance of winning. Personally he's my favorite of the democratic candidates, it sadden's me that Hillary of all people will probably win.
I just remember when they asked him if he smoked pot he said "yes". Then when they asked him if he inhaled he said "well of course I inhaled, otherwise what's the point?" LOL, I loved the guy for that one.
Hillary inhaled. She took Bill's hit, too.
I am voting for Ron Paul
Hes publicly said numerous time STOP THE WAR ON MARIJUANA
IT IS A MEDICINE FOR PEOPLE, A PLANT, ITS HELPFUL... Ron Paul
Also he wants to GET RID OF TAXES!!
Dr. Ron Paul for president 08!!
:pimp:
I will be voting for Barack Obama in the primary. I am not sure exactly of his position on decriminalizing marijuana, but just his healthcare plan is enough for me. Also the fact he is not receiving money from PAC's, lobbyists, ect., and has raised as much money as Mrs. Clinton, is impressive. He also seems to be more willing to hear the voices of the average, middle class American.
I suppose I'll vote for Gravell in the primaries and Clinton in the general, unless of course, Ron Paul wins the republican primary, in that case, depending on who the Vice pres candidate is (If it's judiani or McCain I'll vote demo.) I might vote for him. No more right wing nutjobs, please. Remember that the Vice pres. is the swing vote in the senate. As far as the supreme court goes, were fucked, Bush tilted that way to the right. Expect your civil rights to be dissapearing Mach schnell. They're already coming on strong. Goodby abortion, goodby free speech, goodby right to bear arms, goodby right to reasonable search, etc.
Wait a minute, so do the American people actually vote the leader of each party in? 'Cause here in Canada the party votes for their own leader, then the people vote for the party. That's pretty cool if you do get to do that, gives me hope that Hillary won't win! Not that I hate the woman or anything, I just don't think 2 decades of nothing but Bush's and Clinton's is what you need.
if your registed as a Democrat you can only vote for the candidate in that party for presidential primary elections, same if you were a Republican candidate. Independents (third parties) can vote for both i believe.Quote:

and as for the "white power" people, they only make up like 1% of our population, so i don't think it would be that big of a deal. We need a change and a black president would be a good start.
Im not a fan b/c of his politics, but id be opened to elect an african american. But that is cool that he admitted to smoking pot haha
that Gravel pretty well has his shit together, I'm thinking at this point ... too outspoken and independent to be taken seriously, but he had a few soundbites I liked ... don't know enough about him yet ... (remember: they're ALL lying :wtf:) ...
