I'm so delightfully happy. I'm getting a camera.

I'm finally getting myself a Canon S51S 8 megapixel camera for £369, dont know when though, the place that stocks them is near to where i work, so i might see if it's a real shop rather than just an internet shop.

Soon i'll have a real camera with macro hopefully.

i love cameras. i need a new digital camera though...my screen doesn't always work...lately when i turn it on, the screen is just white

Hell yeah, man. I'm about to get my first digital camera soon as well. I have a $200 gift certificate for a local shop and I'm going to go down there in a couple days and pick one up. I'll have to do some research. Can't wait though.

Any recommendations for a camera exactly or under $200 USD?

i have an awesome canon i got for photography class in high school a looooong time ago. still works like clockwork and takes the classiest photos ive seen from a non-digital camera.

it better too..it cost me 650 bucks.

Canons rock. I've used them professionally for years. Shot many an album cover with Canons.
Now I have a pair of D30 digital rebels.

Nice dude, that is about 3 times as good as the camera I use now lol.
