This begging for rep thing is really dumb... does it matter THAT much? Is unearned rep worth a damn anyway? Ohyay, you have lots of green candy and nothing to say.... Good for you.

I just got repped by someone who was like, dude rep me back now... !!! You know who you are. That was BS. When you post something helpful or intelligent, cool. Rep and respect are equivalent IMO and 'can I have some rep please' just makes you seem like a beggar. I don't roll that way.

well rep is a good thing because it'll let noobies to the site know who they should trust, but when it gets abused like this what's the point. all it's asking for is for the noobs to start posting threads begging for rep and then nobody will really know who to trust.

is there a possibility to get the rep system adjusted so you could only recieve say 2-3 reps a day no matter who they come from?

Rep means nothing - even if it's deserved. It's used as a PM more than anything else.

I think its stupid too. I rep people when I think they deserve it.
