Type of weed called Dro?

Hi people i know say things like ive got some "dro" as its a strain.??? i thought it was something to do with the way it was grown :S

nope dro is short for hydro hydro is short for hydroponic which is the way its grown :)

You're right- and this is something many people misunderstand.

"Dro", or "Hydro", refers to the growing method. It is marijuana grown hydoponically (that is, without dirt. Rather, an inert medium holds the plant, and nutrients are flushed through it on a timer.) Many new smokers, or people unfamiliar with our unique language assume that "dro" is a better kind of weed. Though hydroponically grown weed can be awesome, soil grows just as good.

Anyone who's like "I got some dro.. it's a little expensive, but dro is the bomb diggity.." is lying to you.

So, I repeat (for the clarity of this entire message board): "Dro" is not any better than any other kind of weed. "Dro" refers to the growing method, and the growing method ONLY.

This is true, but when I speak of dro I'm usually talking about the chronic buds you get that are always great to awsome and fuck yer shit up...

it has become something of a slang these days.. that's why I tried to clear it up a bit.

if i were to ever talk about "dro" first of all i would say hydro....cuz it just sounds better to me and second of all i would be talking about the same thing as buck....the deliciously wonderful buds that are sometimes superpowered....or seem to be for the most part...

Hydroponics is a method of growing which, done properly, can yield very dense, crystally, high-quality buds. It's not a strain, but people who don't know any better sometimes act as if it is.

Ok... what in your opinions is the best type of hydro weed?

wait so technically you could possibly improve on such strains as purple skunk/haze northern lights and so on? mmmm.......my mouth waters at the thought of those buds....

they're actually not the same.. dro is sooo much more kill.. its hellla fluffy and has hella crystals on it
