BEAR GRYLLS !

Anyone in the uk or other heard of this guy ?

He is like an extreme version of ray mears. I have watched his show and I enjoyed it allot. On this one i saw he was dumped in a rain forest with only a pen knife and had to find his way back to civilisation by cutting through the forest to a river, where he made a raft and set of down the river to find people.

He eats alot of stuff he finds, insects and live fish, all sorts. One thing that shocked me in one of his shows, he was somewhere in the outback in florida I think, and came across this big old turtle that must have been years and years old ' and he's like woah look at this fella, the next thing you know he plunges a dagger into the whole where the turtles head comes out "sliiicce', the cooks it on a fire and eats it.

Its quiet and eye opener and makes very interesting veiwing.

YES! Bear is a total badass. In the U.S. his show was called "Man Vs. Wild" and it was on the Discovery Channel on Friday nights. There is nothing better than smoking bowls and watching Man vs. Wild. But I think the show is over now... hopefully they'll do a second season.

Damn I knew it! Yea that guys the absolute shit. I love how no matter how hungry or cold he gets the camera guy doesn't give him shit.

Man vs. wild is a good show. he did one in alaska or some frozen place. he jumped in a freezing to explain what to do if you happen to fall in while crossing ice. crazy....

Me not being a part fo this thread would be a crime against...me.

Bear grylls is my idol. i seen lots of the episodes no use listing them again.

Bear Grylls was on a few weeks back now, unfortunately I forgot it was on. (damn my short term memory!). Hopefully they'll show a repeat!

i hate the fact it's called 'man vs wild'. Fucking destructive yank mentality tbh. Ray Mears is chill and actually RESPECTS nature.

PSH its not yank mentality, it sounds a hell of alot better than Bear Grylls
