Good luck with your new grow room, Mrs. Greenjeans.
Shov
Thanks Markass! I'm not sure how long I've got to go. I'll have to check trichs to gauge harvest time.
Hey Shov, nice to see you! Thanks for stopping by.
I just sat down and read this entire thread, very impressive! It makes me want to grow. I'll definitely check back often!
Good luck, Loath
Yah, I was thinking it could be from the lemon juice too. I think it does not stay stable. I only used it for a short time. I went to using reverse osmosis or distilled water cause I was sick of messing with the ph. I also had really hard water too....lots of iron and calcium in it.
Happy moving.

Bree, I believe you're right. I bought some actual pH adjusters at the store, so I should be all good now if the need arises.
The girls are looking much better after their dowsing last night. And they are definitely loving the cooler temps in my attic. I forgot to bring my thermometer over, but I can tell you the difference in temps from my closet is phenomenal.
Notes: If Pat's clones root...they need more aggressive FIMming and LSTing. Lily's clones on the other hand need less. Pat's buds are girthy, with long internodal spacing. Lily's buds are more slender, but really dense, with tight nodes, about 3/4 of an inch apart.
Hi Mrs. G- So glad you are back, and hope the move is progressing well. It is hard when you have fussy, leafy kids to lug around! :weedpoke:
Hello, I'm still pretty new and about to start my first grow, so I just wanted to tell you that your log has helped me quite a bit. It's nice to be able to see what sorts of problems I might be up against. I bought the Ready Set Grow video from HighTimes, and while it does help it still leaves out quite a bit, especially in the trouble shooting department. Knowing that there is always a chance of aphids or spider mites, suddenly the problem I have with keeping lady bugs out of my house seems like it might actually be to my advantage for once. "Ok girls, you can stay but you better be on constant patrol!" The info you posted on exhaust fans and filters has been most helpful, thank you. I think the hardest part is going to be screwing up my courage to cut the hole in the ceiling and into the attic so I can patch in to the existing duct.
Hey Mrs G! I like your setup in the attic there. Looks nice and cozy for the girls!
welcome back. :)

I'll take all your lady bugs!Quote:

I can't say it enough, I love the clones.
I hope the lady's are gonna do well. I'll drop by again soon, I just got back from my trip :)
Well Mrs Greenjeans, It looks like your plants are doing fine.
I enjoy your photos and captions. Keep it up.
Im glad your plants are recovering, told you they would pull though but I know how it is when ur babies get colds parents panic. Did you sing to them as I suggested . lol
Hey greenjeans what do you see for your next grow? I think next time we'll get those buds so big you'll have to prop up your plants, I'll help you out with that now that you have the hps
I don't know if this would work for you but what is the PH of melted snow. Here in Vegas we don't have a snow problem, but the water is attrocious. I have a pure water store less than a mile from my house that sells water for 16 cents a gallon. I have a pool, so I have an abundance of empty 5 gallon chlorine buckets. rinsed them out real good and trucked on down to the store. the guy wanted to know if I was going to drink that water, I said no, they were for my aquariums. So, now, every other week I truck on down and fill up the 2 buckets and it lasts for the 2 weeks between changes. I have 4 bubbler stones in my bubbler so the oxygen level is up there. They are growing at an alarming rate. I'll try and post a couple of pics for ya. tomorrow, as it's lights out now.
So...spill. Did you meet up with Stinky and the Yeag (Pinky and the Brain) I'm stoned. That made sense to me.Quote:

Lady Bugs rock. I actually had the opposite problem one year..I didn't have enough ladybugs. I had to buy them! Crazy eh?Quote:

Thanks for the wb CG. Yeah, I think they are digging on the attic. The buds are fattening up wheeee! Shuttling them up and down two flights everyday isn't doing my back any favors. However, my ass looks fabulous! *snicker*Quote:

Eric:Thank you sweetie. Your comments are always appreciated. And I love making captions, cause I'm lazy. It's an easy way to get an idea across, and I get to play with fonts. I'm a font geek.
R00t:Yes, I did sing to them! I think I may be being brought up on charges of plant abuse now. *snork!*
1Chronic:Send good vibes for the clones. They are looking peakedy. The one that rooted is doing good though.
medicinal:Your setup sounds boss. I'll be looking forward to your pics.
I got some magic beans from some killllller smoke. I mentioned it before on this thread I think. Folks around here call it "dumpster" cause it stinks and gets you trashed lol! All I know about it is it's a sativa dom. So that's my next project.Quote:

Big kisses! Mmmmuuuuwwaaah!
Dude is trying to dick me on my Superthrive order. He claims he didn't get paid, but my bank says he did.
hmph.
Fucking popup blockers.
Just a few pics of my cab that I"ll be using for clones, mothers, and early veg. Papi cut the holes for my lights. He's the bestest!
No captions on these pics. I'm on my laptop, and don't have any editing software, and it will take 24 minutes to download some, so fuggit. Make up your own! eheheheheheheheh!
Love y'uns. I got y'all right here. /fist to heart, peace sign
Looking good, I'm trying to go to the Salvation army to pick up a nice cab.
Great Job:thumbsup:
Good shit! So what are the new grow rooms dimensions? I'm high so thats why I care about all the details.:)
how goes things mrs. green?
Sup greenjeans!!
Melted snow.... it has the same pH as whatever the rainwater would have been. In fact, you can actually take snow samples and determine what the pollution source was in the area in which the storm system originated! It's just the ratio of nitric to phosphoric acid in the water... one comes from industrial/coal fired.. the other comes from auto exhaust! Neat stuff... I've acutally done this, lol, geek alert.
Anyway I have a lot to catch up on your log apparently! Run off with the big guy for a week and miss all the fun.... wtf!!! I'm just borrowing the bartender's laptop atm.... he;'s distracted by the Simpsons....
how's the house projects going?
I just took another pic, but I can't upload it because now I'm on the old man's laptop and it is the suck. It looks all bell and whistle-y, but it doesn't have half the stuff mine does, due to it being a work laptop.Quote:

Okay, here are outside pics of the cab.
LOL! Looks Great Mrs. G  Bree

Your cab looks glowingly fab! I am running out of room in my veg room because I am starting so many actual vegetables! Spring won't be here for
a little over another month - I can't wait!
We spent yesterday installing a fan system with a carbon scrubber for the flower room, will post pics in my log. Two more weeks until harvest, though I have chopped one top off a cola because it looked done enough! It's drying for sampling later :stoned:
Wootish! I have to say, I'm excited about harvesting.Quote:

I have that wiggly puppy feeling. New house, springtime, big plans. I think I might pee on myself.
The photos remind me of "Close encounters of the Third Kind".
Looks like you have some space bud there.
