NEWB,1st GROW, THOUGHT I'D SHARE EXPERIENCE W/ OTHERS FOR INPUT!

my temps have finally gone down now!! i made the hour drive to the nearest hydro shop yesterday, and got the best help out there..
so you can basically see in the pics what i have done to bring in the A/C air into the room, and pull out the air...
that's the new squirrel cage that i got ( 425 CFM ), that's pulling the air directly out the hood, and out to the rest of the house..
the trick though, was that i did not have glass on my hood, so the air that it was pulling out before was not just the hot air from the bulb, but all the air from the room.. so i got some glass to fit the hood, and taped it up all around so that it was pressurizd.. i can put my hand 4 inches below and BARELY feel warmth..
going to split the room today in half, and put all the ones that look to have good potential on that side, and then set the other half the side up w/ CFL's and let the other little ones try to come in..
put a small fan inside of the air vent, so that it is blowing air into the dryer hose..
temps in the day time are at 84 and at night time 80... :D
got some 35% peroxide, and some ph up/down, ph tester for water, and fox farms nutes...
watered them all yesterday w/ 2 qts of water, 2-3 dops of peroxide, 2 drops of ph down, and 1/2 tspn of FoxFarms Grow Big..
all of my plants have had major bottom damage, but top growth seems to still be coming in alright.
starting to get a stinky aroma in the room, the plants.. now i have to buy some sort of odor control..something else :(
anyways, just an update..
PEACE!

I plan on running my intake threw the ac vent as well.
Not sure what I'm going to do about the exhaust.
Prabaly put it out the window above the ac unit. If I'm on the second story.
Otherwise I'll run it to the attic if possible. Or the basement.

few new pics that i just took.. 8 real healthy plants ( over 12" tall ), and out of the 8, 6 of them are being " LST ".... laid the plant down at a 90 degree angle, opened up the middle ALOT and promoted new, beautiful growth...
think i can already tell which ones are the males, i heard that the ones that just have a major growth spurt, have a tendency to be male, and i've seen that from 2 of them.. who knows though
anways here's the pics...
by the way, my temps are at 6 hours of the day ( the hottest part of the day day, mid afternoon ) no higher than 83 degree's, and the rest of the day 78-80 degree's...:D :D
finally!! and they are loving that, they are growing soooo much..!!!!
......BUFFALO SOLDIER YOU OUT THERE?? .....

still having issues w/ the leaf's, but the plants are still growing healthly..
i've added to my garden
2 - B-52,
3 - C- 99,
3 - BlockHead
3 - Master Kush
:D  :D  :pimp:
i will start to flower in 7 days, on the 13th it'll be 2 months, and then i'm going to swap them over..
i've got a couple of ladybugs running around in there, just as a preventative..
thinking about ordering a 250 watt HPS for these seedlings that are coming up..
i've built another area in the house for the seedlings w/ a couple of CFL's, but they absoulutely love that HID..
been giving them h2o2 in their waterings, and foliar fed them w/ some too.. they should like that..
i've been reading great things about h2o2 , if anyone has any pro's or con's on using i would love to hear them..
but anyways, just an update.. i'm still alive and kicking :D

I know 24/0 works great, but ...... I'm wondering if 18/6 has needed benefits. Roots grow in DARK. I might try, but ...... to lose 6 hours of light iz hard to justify for sure. Experience will pay me enough, I hope. Don't let the hermie mythe be the rule. I like the stressed female seeds. Got a mom and she was stressed and seeded ??? KOOL 'cause they are PURE FEMALE, so they say. Maybe 18/6 will give me a bigger stronger plant quicker. Time will tell. Yoda said "The future iz alwayz changing.".

OverGrow.com called that the "back of hand" test. Works for me. I'm always too far away or JUST RIGHT. When they melt, I back off. OOPzzz
