The results of a grafted scion (donor plant) and a mother plant (stock) does not combine the DNA of both plants to make a hybrid of the two plants. Each part is a clone of the original, there is no mixing of genetic traits between the stock and scion. A cutting from the grafted scion is a clone of the original donor plant not a combination of the two.Quote:
