LED GROW SHOW

1 week and i am home....good news is i bought a new camera...a digital HD one so my photos should drsmatically improve from what i have been showing!:thumbsup:

Thanks all for stoppin in...less than a week and the show will resume...i have my crop finishing early next week and a new show will begin and 1 will be at around 28 days i do believe....and a new camera for better pictures:jointsmile:

here is something i thought i would share...just got email from my mfr of my lights and i think it was Headshake who mentioned something about 5w LEDs

Currently all 5W leds are made by multiple chips, not single chip. As soon as single chip 5W leds are available, we will use them as well.

that is where it is from the manufacturing side so 3w LED is as big as they go right now:thumbsup:

They might not be able to get the single-chip 5W emitters at a reasonable price for the quantity you're moving. Alibaba and Aliexpress have tons (most are white LEDs but there are some horticulturally-suitable diodes to be found.)

That's the issue I'm having acquiring 3w diodes, especially with my emission pattern. I'm not moving enough volume to do more than get enough for prototyping at my current budget.

yeah..if you can make it that's one thing...next is making them affordble enough to have a market....when it happens though they will do it and i am looking forward to it.:jointsmile:
