So you just cut the bottom of the bag and stick it in the pail? That rules...less stress i suppose..

BOG used to cut his pails, duct tape the bottom back on and remove the bottom when transplanting on top of a larger pail. I've tried it once and it worked well. In this case I have four or more weeks until I harvest so it should be woth while.

Is BOG not the same creater of the Tier Metheod ?

I don't know about a 'tier method' BOG worked with Bubblegum strain and created some of his own very nice hybrids.

Cutting the bottom of the bag off, i place it into the partially filled 5 gallon pail. Then I use a sissors to triim off the bottom few inches of the bag and fill around it with potting soil. I water both from the top and from the sides to keep the soil equally moist.

In STINKY'S words,"BOG is a great proponent of multi-tier transplanting"...
This style of transplant must've been around for countless time before any of us was a thought including BushyOldGrower...I think many growers discover it by themselves...I did...Thought I invented it and did a thread about it on afew sites including this one,lol...STINKY told me about the BOG and my Noble Prize for horticulture flew out the window,lol!!!:o

Those pics bring a tear to my eye they are soo nice.. Damn if it was me I could die a happy man after sampling all that when there done, I will stay tuned... nice job!
