I'm on top of that... I already called Monica Lewinsky... I heard she had an extra pair of slightly used knee pads kicking around...Quote:

shov I would prefer to replace it with wood or bamboo... i don't really like carpet- dust n all- i think i can put in wood floors myself- i'm a slow but solid woodworker. so i thik ill just keep on with teh tear out. plus theres asbestos underneath and i don t want anyone to see it, ya know? and im not going out drinking every night, so i need a LONG project to keep my hands busy!
Now that Stinky has hijacked my log... hee hee :wtf:
Okay yet MORE tweakage to the cloning method.
Dip-n-grow!!! Oh holy CRAP how amazing is this shit. Screw clonex, I'm done with it. DnG has 2 different hormones plus a fungicide, which buys some time- time you don't seem to need!!! I'm getting cuts to strike to the point where they can't be lifted out by DAY 4~~
I have also found that the simplest way to sterilize the prop setup is that scrubbing bubbles shit, that you spray on and it foams up- you can't miss a spot becasue it's easy to see where the white sanitizer is in contact with the black plastic.
So it's rapidrooters, a single SMALL cool white cfl, and dip-n-grow... even the heat pads are uneccessary at this time of year! HAHAHHA I am the cheapest, stingiest chick out there and LOVE paying $9 for the dome, mooching 0.5mL per run of dip-n-gro off a friend, 10 cents each for the plugs, scrounging 6-pax out of the dumpster at the garden store (they go through the dishwasher before use), and having 100% success!!! Thanks friend who lets me be a total mooch! :D
Okay what else... BBQ!!!!!! I went to Curtis' for ribs on Friday because I was fiendin' for some red meat... First off, the ribs are HUGE. I was going to order a half slab, and thought better of it, and got the 4-rib plate... STILL too big, it was actually 5 ribs and they were like off the sides of the plate... And tender!!! And you can sit there at a picnic table and watch tourists coming off the exit ramp and you can literally SEE them sniffing the air and looking around for the sources of all that BBQ stank... oooooh it is yummy. Be warned that it's sour southern-style bbq sauce though. Not that northern molasses/honey sweetened stuff I'm used to.
Hey, Foxy...haven't seen you in a while! How's it goin'? Didn't you say that you had some kinda Foggy strain way back when? Any news on that? :D:D Some 4 or 5? :)
Hope things are well. MMMmmm BBQ. :)
The Fog :rastasmoke:
Oh yay, I'm updating foxy's log for her lazy ass.
Yeag's MTF clones taken in week 2 of flower rooted FULLY by day 6- real roots, not nubs. 1/2" at least!
All these pics are thunderfucks:
Clone w/roots
Cuttings ready to transplant by tonight
A small plant about 12" of main stem, trained diagonally to take advantage of the vigorous side growth
A nice female between 2 and 3 weeks floweirng
Okay more pics...
1- I'm up to 3 prop domes [pot roasters lol] and have a 4th waiting in the wings...
2-it IS possible to give your seedlings too much superthrive, oops...
3-when you can do this, the cut has 'struck'
4-thats my veg room atm. i put a 4' t12 fixture under the drip table for newly-rooted clones to hang out for a little while
Looks grand, girly! Those are some stout roots- I'm gettin some of that dipngrow, since my last batch of clones never took, boo hoo.
The sister of that running mtf is getting outrageously long and bushy. As soon as I get the gel, I could take around 6 clones, and not make a dent in her! She's fabulous
I know I can't get over the tight nodes on that MTF line still.
How do you feel about splitting a dip-n-grow? Possibly 3 ways, I just about used up a friend's supply, lol! A pint is like $30 and it is 2 or more lifetime supplys, and doesn't go bad (clonex seems to after a while... my bottle from last year has also stopped working, lol).
Anyhow thanks for stopping by! :D
Oh no.....!
I'm invisible...
The Fog
Demeter- I picked you up a bottle of dip n grow!
F[r]og- I'm just waiting for some space to open up for the foggy seeds- I've been on a cloning frenzy lately!
Did you know that when you go into the reply view, I can see that you were invisible? HAHAHAHAHAHA
Pics- nothing much, here's some buds drying. And a bunch of pot-roasters all full of lil sweet things
nice harvest! and I always liked them pot-roasters! <G>

dammmm thouse drying buds look great.
Thanks!
Next time I run that strain (all 3 are clones of a Bushy Old Grower strain) I'm really cleaning out low in the plant. The low buds just get messy and nasty, and are a pain to trim up. This plant seems to want to be either SCROGged or grown in a tomato cage. It's very flexible and needs a lot of support for the bud mass.
Liking what i'm seeing on the hangers sis . keep up the good work .
Peace
Crispi
Thanks foxy- Mr D will be out of town the weekend of the 30th- wanna have a clone party? That mtf is taking over- there are easily 20 clone babies in making! I need to snip the bh mothers too- so bring that dipngrow and let's go! Once I harvest this last flower group of 6 in a few weeks, I will just be keeping the veg kids small as possible, until I can flower in the winter, so I may have to pawn off some of the girls on you:hippy:Quote:

Hi Dave! It's just chugging along as usual I suppose. Work, garden, eat, smoke, sleep, get up, coffee, do it all over again. Plus a bit of time to spend with friends here and there. I can't complain.
I hope things are good with you too!
yeh stinky attic everythings top this end just harvested so thats keeping us busy .im thinking of doing away with the RO water until i can say i know what im doing lol one of my grow partners is determed to get it working but im not convinced so im thinking of suggesting NFT systems for growing see what the partners thing as all this soil and pots is getting a bit much,to much soil coming in and out. So of of to glasgow for the weekend via the hydro store.
Was gutted you never took the moderator job damn girl that job was tailored for you but its your choice and i suppose we all gotta respect it.peice and giant yeilds . Dave
Ps did xcrisry get the job?
I don't know if xcrispi would even want it either for the same reasons that I didn't- security and time. Give me some time to get those things sorted out and we will see.
I used to work at a commercial facility running NFT and think that if I were to get into hydro again it would be that, or flood-&-drain. But NFT has a LOT of potential and is a neat system to build yourself too.
If you do go that route it's back to RO water for you though! lol.
Hello peeples, guess it's been a minute!
Update... that goofy looking Afghan cross turned out female and is going back in veg.
My OGKush that got seeded under 24h light, the baby daddy is Purple Star... look for those to be popped as soon as they are ready.
I just started some more beans:
Black Indica and BoggleGum to replace moms that I lost (flowered without backup, what a silly girl I am!)
Bogglegum X BlueJay - I am going nuts on the BOG stuff and this is half his.
BlueBear's MTF- It's a very different plant from Yeag's MTF but has the characteristic of coming down in less than 45 days!!
Temps are skyrocketing in my part of the world and I'm having some heat probs in the veg room now.
That's it... doesn't a perpetual get boring fast? lol Pics after the weekend, promise.
I think female bud growers R so cool.
U go girl.
wate U R female arn't U.
lol foxy is a chick. ; )
and yup, she's cool. how do I know? wouldn't you like to know! tee hee
Hey party people, long time no see (sorry).
I've been busy as usual.
I recently aqcuired a lovely population of mites from visiting an infected grow- oops- but they seem to be under control already with an application of rotenone, and I have treated EVERYTHING in veg with Avid to prevent them spreading.
I built a spankin' new room in the crawl space where I first started this growing adventure, but which has been sitting fallow for almost 2 years- I ran out of space in the rest of my house, lol. I moved my 2 halides in there to do the moms, and replaced them with shop lights in the old veg closet. Temps are much better.
I've temporarily shut off my HPS400 in the flower room for the hottest part of the summer. It will go back online in Spetember I imagine.
Here's a couple pics. I'll take newer ones this weekend; these ar about 2 weeks old. Since moving my moms upstairs, I've had to take 3 rounds of clones JUST to keep them from growing up into the light... I have a few extras, lol... I'm pushing them on my friends... here!!! Take a clone!!! Take a dozen!!!! AAAAARGH!!!! Get them out of here! :D
Yes, I am fully aware that the plants on the top shelf of the closet are leggy- they were REALLY crowded together and all bolted before I rearranged everything. The girls look a lot better now. Of course, anything that is grown from seed is not intended to really go into flower for any other reason than to sex since I take a bunch of clones off and stock up first, and draw the flowering stock from my supply of clones and retired moms.
beautiful foxy!!!!!!! i must say...keep doing ur thing. i aspire to be like u in a few months... been lurking around here for years but now is the time...lol
Hey stinky and demeter!
I'm not growing much at the moment except around the hut and the garden.
I should get my camera out but I've been busy with the camera at work. Next week, I promise (if I can only find the thread with the flowers......????

Nice work, Foxy!
Go Sox!
(Sho's hat is a Bosox hat, but a little out of focus)
Shov
Aww Shov, that's like a little slice of heaven up there, huh? What a view, and your hollyhocks are pretty. Everything looks so damn verdant. Wow I'm jealous. I was up your way last weekend on the way to the Adirondacks, only as far north as that little hump sticking out the west side of the state though. Probably an hour south of you still. But it was a really pretty drive for sure.
ForWhat, thanks for the props on my little garden! For all the fussing around I've done, I always come back to the simple basics of compost and lots of love. That's what works! :D
yup, ifn ya don't like green then this isn't the place for you!
The hollyhocks are just starting, we'll have some nice colors of the taller and shorter varieties. Same for lillies, I have 15 new assorted bulbs, always fun to wait and see the colors of em.
SHO
Just a quick update!
Temps locally have dropped back down to a tolerable level and I put my HPS400 back on line today.
The new mother closet is working out really well. So is the improved veg closet. Crowding is not so much a problem any more and all the extra stretching and loss of lower, shaded leaves is a thing of the past.
I'm past the bunch of plants that were damaged last month and recent harvests are on the upswing- I just took down a MTF with an even ounce dry on it that was the last plant affected.
The mites are pretty much under control. They do not appear to have spread past that one plant, and I'm still treating for them, but I don't see any serious threat anymore. It will now just be preemptive Avid and Neem treatments before flowering, and Rotenone in veg.
This is a sexy pair of Foxy Seeds' (White Rhino x Yeag's MTF) F1 hybrids showing the squat structure of the MTF and the beautiful frosty white buds of the Rhino. I love this cross. I haven't smoked it yet but it looks mouthwatering and the plants are pretty hardy.
That there is a very good local brew that goes deliciously with bud.
Very delicious looking nugs, there Foxy. Nice flushing, too. I bet it tastes superb.
The Fog :rastasmoke:
Hey honey, sorry I haven't checked in lately myself.Quote:

Some yummy trees you got there dearie! If you need any help tasting them give me a ring! The clones are looking very strong, due no doubt to the skill of the cloner:DQuote:

Once you get to my house it's only about another half hour to the paddlin' hole.
Hi Stinkyattic- I am in the homestretch now - one more week and school's out until Sept- yea! We've got a friend coming in from out of town to stay with us this weekend, but after that I am free as a wild bird- so let us know which weekend we should come out west to see ya! This time we've toasted the pine nuts so the pesto is even better- and now we have tomatoes too (as well as tons of yellow squash and zucchini!)
I need to take some clones of what I think is trainwreck for you- man, nothing helps me sleep like that stinky stuff!
Well... sorta...
Just thought I'd post a couple recent pics. Nothing particularly exciting, just a reminder that I haven't fallen off the earth.
Still having horrible temperature problems- it's September, almost October- we should not have 90 degree weather still! My lame a/c can't handle it, and I'm running on half the lights I should be.
Pics include a harvested plant, no clue what it was, I didn't get a good pic of the tag- oops.
Other one is my lovely clone storage closet, overflowing with way the heck too many plants. Would that we all had these problems!
Damn its a fucking jungle in there. And what in gods name is a hollyhock? Sounds like an injury to a horse or something. :wtf:
Ugh that's not even the worst of it. My flower room shouldn't see the light of day; it's embarassing. And my mother crawlspace is just... terrifying. That closet is actually the most presentable grow area in the house. I just realized that those plants need a drink in the pic too, lol.
