The pic thingy works.... Try it like Smoke suggests because had issues trying the normal way! To answer your question I will top. Just waiting for another node? Judging by the pics I'll leave it inQuote:

You could top now, or wait another node, up to you. 'I' would wait one more.
I just added a pic the normal way on mine and it works. Just shows up as attachments like the last ones you added.Quote:

You can top anytime after the third node. Your plants are at the size now that you can top whenever you like. Its all up to you.
Guys
It seems to be an even split referring to the topping & possibly in a few? Yea boy..... These babies are now adults & still using spidy senses to judge their feedings. Can't wait for my shipment to arrive carrying the beloved "FF" nectar & the PH thingy. Yousa.... feeling like a million $$ & can actually visualize a "happy ending" & I do mean HAPPY on both fronts. So,,,,,, Will top later today. Yea.... I'm frigg'n wacko & went from "topping" soon to today...... Now that's ooym madness......lmao. Push.... Have I seen your latest grow?
;
My bad man i think we posted at the same time. Thanks for the props manQuote:

Wasn't sure the last pic post went through so I'm being redundant.[attachment=o278328][attachment=o278329][attachment=o278330][attachment=o278331]
Curious:
Is it cool to do an "AIM" chat or IM capabilities on this site? Reason I ask is simple. Sometimes one cannot wait for a response if there is a crisis. So I guess it would be like a mobile e.r....... Kinda like a M.A,S.H. unit on the web! Betcha we can make a small $$ in this type of gig or am I just too out there cuz this has been/is being done!
Topped 3 of the 4....
Guys:
The "FF" arrived....along with the PH tester. took a quick read, 6.5-6.6. Also gave a quick feed of 3 Teaspoons/Gallon as recommended. Would these be accurate #'s all around?
The main thing is to make sure you add the nutes then ph cause nutes can raise or lower the ph of your water. Just start off will small doses then work your way up to full strength if everything keeps looking good.Quote:

Go easy with the FF at first. Your ph is fine.

Hmmm:
Tons of ??'s. Appears that I will be using all 3 when I flower. also looks as though they are using an 18/12 schedule (Me....24 to 12) but I assume I'm on track using this as a guide. One more technical ?.... When will I know that they are in fact all girls? You're a good man bro!
My bad, forgot to say to just follow for the flowering part. You're doin great in veg already.Quote:

judging from the pics, how many more weeks do you think I should stay in veg (considering my experience)
To harvest a decent crop? Also.... Contemplating the transplant. Remeber you saying that I could veg out entirely using the 1 gallon containers. I also said that I could use the 5 gallon buckets (will steam'm clean). Is this a traumatic event? Any other tidbits of experience gratefully accepted. Pics later tonight.
Cheers Bro:wtf:
I would wait a few days-week after the tops to recover.
Then transplant to 5Gal.
Then take the next few weeks to get all your tops to an even canopy: lst/pinch/twist/supercrop to keep the stretchers at bay.
Then flip.
Bro:
No disrespect......I'm an old school hipster but no comprende. Please translate. "lst/pinch/twist/supercrop"... to keep the stretchers at bay.
Then flip. Thanx..
Even though you topped, some branches will grow taller than others. You wanna try to get all the branch tops even with each other.
This way youll get even light coverage when you start to flower, and the tops will stretch around the same heights.
-lst is just tieing branches down.
-pinching is just that: pinch the taller ones a few nodes down, and theyll slow em up a little.
-twisting is actually twisting a mid part of the taller branches also to slow em down.
-these are a few supercropping techniques
Gonna need to research this cuz I don't have a clue. What I mean to say is I looked into "Topping" & "Evening Out" it's no big. "Tying Down Branches"...???? "Pinching" I think I can grasp...."Twisting"....This stuff is kinda advanced for me. Hey... I APPRECIATE ALL THAT YOU & Pushit have done thus far!!!!
Just try to get em evened out. dont need to get advanced right nowQuote:

A word:
Judging from the newest pics (Post tie down) Do you think that I could pinch off some of the branches to "even out the canopy". I'm a little hesitant in doing this cuz I think the branches may snap. I viewed a bunch of vids on Youtube & they make it look like childs play!!
Up to you. Maybe try it out on just one
That's a big azz 1.... Like a main branch! That's all I could pinch off... correct? Could you shoot over some pics on your trees. If you could take a close shot where you pinched it off. If not I understand. All of my "colas"... (& I use this term cautiously because I'm not even sure they are) are looking good? It's kind of a statement/question rolled up into one. Are they in fact "colas"? Btw, I dig this online holiday chatter...
-Did you pinch or pinch it off, kinda confused.
All the branches are going to be your colas. just do some easy tieing to get the branch-tops even and parallel with the floor. (or as close as possible before flip)
-From the pic, they are still close to the main stem.
Ill try to get a pic later. Mines stretched a little bit more, maybe halfway to catchin the top.
I didn't pinch anything off to date. Just tied down a lot of the colas. Gonna send some better shots as well so you can see what I'm trying to convey. Again, new to the scene but am a quick learner.
So have a peek & let me know

looks good. Dont worry about gettin every branch to the top, you're gonna cut the ones that dont make it.
Got some pics

Sweet:
Nice bro. Appears to be right on track. It appears that you sliced off the top.....am I correct with this assumption?
Ya, been topped. She needs to go in flowering soon.
So;
Just had a peek @ the kids & they're growing like a weed. Outta control growth with the FF nutes bro. Had to tie down a few more stems. How much longer can this go on? Just pinched 2...
Ye, cant go wrong with FF.Quote:
