hi....
2 snacks meaning fruits and vegetables..cheese is good in moderation, if it is a light kind..apple and cheese, apple and peanut butter, etc..you know you are dieting right when you are not hungry...even slim fast bars and such are pretty good nowadays...
it is hard to make good food choices as we have gotten heavy and our body is programmed to want certain things..coming off food is like coming off hard drugs..the experts say moderaion is crap, but i think it is individual..for me, moderation worked very well..they key is starving your fat cells.....for instance, at night when you want to eat, that is just your fat cells asking for food..you have to reprogram them to not need to eat..that is why you shouldnt eat 2 hours before bed...
education is key and if you educate yourself about your food choices then you can be better at changing them for the long term...remember that it takes about a month to be able to start to make changes in your habits...dont get discouraged...
keep your chin up...you are gonna be okay...

Good luck and stick with this place, the peeps here care...
I've been sticking with good food all day, however I am pretty hungry. I guess I'll just have to get used to not eating whatever the fuck is in my house.
Get used to drinking water,,,it's good for you in a lot of ways... cuts cravings flushs toxins etc... once you control the amout of food you eat your stomach will shrink and you will be less hungry all the time...Quote:

Yes, 'eating right' is important, but being a younger person (under 25), I understand it is not always easy to 'eat right'. You are always gone somewhere, can't cook worth a shit, don't have the time, sometimes eat with friends unexpectedly (you wanna grab some dinner?).
Everyone can agree that eating many small meals throughout the day is ideal, but its not very practical. Nowadays, I eat about once or twice a day. Never more than twice.
Even if you end up breaking your routine eating schedule, just try not to eat so much. If you do end up eating something 'suspect', don't fret, just remember that when you go to the gym. Punish yourself for eating. After a while, you will find that you can actually eat whatever you want. Never eat until you are 'full' unless it is your only meal of the day.
Also, go down to GNC and get yourself some hydroxycut. Chain drink water. I have pissed 20 times in a day before.
Damn, my parents need to go shopping. For dinner we ate ham and fried potato pancakes. I was doing good all day too =(
Mmmmmm Potato Pancakes... you got a problem there,,,your parents are enablers...Quote:
