BEST SONG TO GET STONED TO

Sitting here at the moment, tokin up, and listening to Isao Tomita.
Pictures at an Exhibition, is really great. Snowflakes are Dancing, and The Burmuda Triangle are just so enjoyable. My little brother, introduced me to Tomita. I was visiting one weekend, they lived in Pio Pio and after a hard Saturday night on some Thai, I was awakened out of a sound sleep to the AMAZING sound of "The Gnome". I was hooked! Took me 2 years to find. Had my record player nicked and the record that was on it was, yep Tomita's Pictures at an Exhibition. Now here it gets interesting, about 8 months later there was a knock on the door, and a copper was standing there, we won't go into what was racing through my mind, suffice to say as I had reported it stolen, they had 'nicked' a couple of blokes on another job, and did a check on the gear. Well my name came up, and I got the player back. And heres the ripper, Tomita was still on the player. Gotta love that guy. Got the record still and on CD.

When you are at the computer with 5 speaker surround on, whilst stoned, listening to this music, then you know you are in 'pig heavan'! ROTFLMFWAO:rasta: :thumbsup: :)

Jon Lord was another fav, as was sitting down on a rainy day listening to the haunting tunes of Gheorge Zamfir's "Music by Candle-light" on the 'Pan Flutes'. Back in the 80's I was walking down Queen street in Auckland NZ on a rainy evening. I was on my way to look at a movie, and I heard this amazing music, echoing around the empty streets. Bugger the pictures, find the music, and I did. Still got the record. And made it to the movie too.
Jon Michelle Jarre - Oxygene 1-6 is great to. I think they used "Oxygene 3" in Chariots of Fire.

Kansas also has some cool ass shit. The beginning of "Won't Get Fooled Again" is so trippy though, seriously. Thats just my strong, strong opinion though.

i agree wholeheartedly... this is my "stoned" song, i never listen to it when i'm not stoned because i think it would ruin the experience for me... it can be almost overwhelming... AMAZING!
