Caffeine prevents AD (alzheimer's disease) in rats a study released NOV 4th.
i personally read the study about an hour ago actually.

Another study on cannabis, shows that THC completely inhibits this molecule involved in causing AD.
The inhibition of this molecule is how other preventative drugs for AD work.

I think that using plastic would be worse for you. Plastic melts. Baaad times. The aluminum would have to vaporize to get into your body, which it wouldn't with just a normal lighter. In my neurophysiology class, aluminum was never mentioned as any risk factor to Alzheimer's. We extensively covered the disease. The disease is just neurofibrillary tangles caused by some protein defect...too lazy to think much more about it right now.
