In resonse to this, i am a girl and i would never spend even close to an hour getting ready. I dont even brush my hair i just put it back lol. I know im sexy just being me. In my opinion, makeup and shit may not make a girl fake, but it sure makes them insecure.Quote:

I do things depending on my mood. Sometimes I'll put my hair in a ponytail and wear no makeup like I don't give a fuck, but others I'll spend like 3 hours getting ready to look cute.
And wearing makeup doesn't mean a girl is insecure either...I wear makeup, I love it. It's fun to put on, honestly. It's like an art form. I wear different looks to go with my mood.

Makeup's not bad for the skin. Not all of it, at least. There are lots of cosmetics that moisturize and provide sunscreen protection and are very good for the skin, in fact.
uh girls you dont spend the hours looking nice for guys, that is for you. why else would you get mad at guys for staring at your body when you have on ga skin tight outfit that you spent so long picking out. i really dont need to explain why but most guys couldnt tell the difference if you spent 10 minutes on the makeup. good is good bad is bad. makeup can be good can be bad. all things in moderation, some girls dont need it. but might as well say no girls need to dye their hair but shit all of them do it. i really dont know what im talking about but if you already look good that hour you spend getting ready is for you and not the guy. thanks fokes

Cambell, you putting on nice looking clothing is the same as girls putting on makeup... both of you are just trying to look nice, taking something not from your body that you like and putting it on your body every day.

the difference is girls put on nice looking clothing too, so that comparison doesnt really make sense, id say a guy wearing nice looking clothing and a girl wearing nice clothes is more similar than a guy wearing nice clothes and a girl wearing makeup
