When you're fighting your friends for that last bit of food or the resentments or jealousies are tearing your group apart I will be laughing my arse off as I take care of my own business. It would all depend on where you are when it happens and what exactly happens to kick start it. If they dropped an A-bomb youd be saying is that all you fuckin got while the radiation sterilzes you and gives you radiation posioning instead of being smart and runnin to a safe area, real badass. Food wouldnt be a problem for awhile because of all the fuckin food we got here, before it ran out i would have started growing my own food. I would start a group and i guarentee you the group would sound a SHITLOAD better at the time then being by yourself especially when the group has their own weapons for everyone right off the bat, im prepared for this shit so i dunno who you think your talkin to man. You go rely on yourself and you can go die by yoursel...

your forgetting that in this scenario of total chaos it would most likely come unexpected and those who it blindsided would be stunned, the perfect time for someone like me to rape and pillage what goods they have, first would be to hit gun stores, id hit a big five first to get strapped and then use those weapons to knock off another gun store. Next would be pharamices, next to weapons antibiotics would be the most valueable thing you could have in your possession. After that you would want to knock off a gas station and load a truck full of containers of gas, if this wasnt possible youd want to syphon gas outta cars, after that id rob the best cars for the situation and head off to an pre-determined outpost to get settled and plan out what happens next. I dont see how you would want to do this on your own at all, if you didnt do things like this you would be one of the ones that wouldnt survive long so have fun dying by yourself
