Haha thats awesome syde. Ya I live in the niagara region really close to niagara falls. WHere you abouts? Ya I actaully just went to T.O and checked out nearly all the smoke shops, thc lounge, all of it. I even went to the kindred cafe, paid 5 bucks for all day access, you get to use their rooms with internet, tv, and vaporizers, and they even had a rooftop chill spot, sooo sick, chill on young street and when you wanna blaze head to kindred haha. It was even on my hunnymoon haha. Ya the guy I got it from gave me a deal cuz Im always in there getting wraps.
Either way it smokes incredibly.
Plus my wife likes it which is mainly the reason I got it.
I thought Id update today with some pics just b.c I changed the room a bit I added 2 reflectors as well. Plus shes looking massiveeeee.

ya young street had about 4-5 places. This one shope had 3 levels, middle was all hemp clothing, braclettes, all that crap, uppper level had soo many kinds of papers and TONES of glassware. I was drooling. Thats cool you live in Niagara Falls to man. Good place to be.
So I got some pics, the buds are getting me excited. The sugar leaves are starting to get frosty. Ive decided to take 4 cuttings from the button of my plant. Im going to run out in the morning and get a root hormone and Im going to attempt clone them and then stick each one under a lamp and see if I can juice her better as the cuttings will be from the very bottom. They just havent gotten high enough and as the plant grows up they stay low.

This is a pic of the bottom of the plant. There are about 4 arms that are small and are getting hairs, but I dont think they are getting the light they need. So Im gonna chop them down.

this is how tall she is. aprox 28inches tall.

Yummy

BUdsss
Gonna wait 3 days and post some pics.
Im also watering with some MG Bloom mix 5-30-5, watering 1/4 nutes 3/4 water and at a quarter strength. We will see in a couple days how she reacts.
Im off to bed. Night all.:rastasmoke:
Things are looking nice over in these parts! Can't wait to see how much they fatten in the following weeks. Keep up the good work m8!:D
Oh I know dude, the leaves are getting frosty and they are deffinitly going to bud up over the next 5 weeks so, ya thanks.:jointsmile:Quote:

I did not have a razor and I realize that would be better for a clean cut. BUT what I did use was a pair of mini clipping snippers that are made for this kinda thing, paid 15 bucks for them, so they better be good. I cut close to the main stem and after I made an angled cut for the bottom as well. I used the snippers and made small cuts in the stems about 15mm up from the bottom to give stronger spots for root development. I went out and bought a gel root hormone that you dip the end in about 15mm. So I planted them all in dirt and by the end of yesturday they were looking horrible, droopy as hell, there was nearly no strength in the stems, they turned to rubber. Now I made these cuttings in the morning b.c I figured right after clipping them off the mother they should go into the light and start growing but now that I think about it, it may have been a better idea to do it at night so they could rest and attempt to adapt before they start "trying"to grow. If anyone has a thought on that or can advize something better for cloning please do so.
I do realize that I am 3 weeks into flower, but these branges were going nowhere. a few were getting white hairs but only a couple. So I figured if I could get them to root then at least I could get fatter nugs on these then if they were on the plant. Ive read so many different oppinions on if its a good idea to trim branches early, later, not at all, different lengths from main stem, the fan leaves, all this stuff and I cant come to a conclusion so Im just going to see. I did however read a thread that talked about clipping the fan leaves off being no good, he displayed a picture where the bud arm on the side where he removed the fan leaf was significantly smaller than the one with the leaf. To bad I read that after I removed a bunch of them. I dont really feel that bad tho b.c this girl had her tips burned a few times by the lamps as Im doing a cfl grow so I try and get the lights close as possible, and honestly I cant believe I am growing cronic b.c this girl had a lamp fall on her earlyer in veg and that fucked up alot of fan leaves which is why I removed them, but like, I feel bad for the plant, Im surprised she hasnt hermied with all the ruffing around shes gotten. Shes growing so tall to I really dont know what Im going to do if she keeps growing. She is probably 30 inches tall today. I kinda wish I trained her b.c the main stem keeps shooting up. Like Im on day 24 of flower, will this stop, maybe next time I should start flower earlier. I dunno.
Ill go take some pics in a bit an upload them, the cuttings are looking stronger so Im going to be patient. So ya. Hope everyones doing good. Happy 4th of july.
hey man, i suspect your problem with the clones was that you didn;t use a humidity dome with them.
They need to be kept in super high humidity for about 7-10 days after you cut them while you are waiting for them to start growing roots.
I took the cheap-ass route and just cut the tops off of water bottles and put them over the plants - just gotta take them off for a few minutes every couple days so they get some fresh air. if you get store-bought domes though, they normally have little windows in them that you can open so you don;t have to do that.
Ya lol, I didnt do enough research and now that Ive done it and they have dropped out to the nth degree I really wish I didnt.Quote:

1. didnt use a dome. DIdnt know. I did go to CanadainTire and found a bunch of those small little dirt circes, the ones that when you add water they get bigger and have a mesh shell to hold the dirt. But I didnt get them b.c I thought they were only for seeds.
2. I didnt use a razor blaze, thought I should but was impatient and used these good snippers I got from home hardware.
3. Cool dry air moving around and no moisture, it does get to about 82 degrees f but still I just didnt start it out right.
4. I didnt scrape the bottm 15 mm I put little cuts all around 15mm up from the bottom.
5. I didnt water her heavily before hand.
6. I dipped my cuttings right into the gel.
7. I cant give them 24 hour light. Id have to get a new cubby, which now
that I think about it I do have one. Hmm, well have to see.
So ya they were looking so bad I just decided to get rid of them, the leaves were drying up hard core and getting yellow. They are still in the dirt and sitting there. Anyone think I should go get a dome and give em another go?
