Four of them have rooted (all the female ones) and I proceeded to plant them (will put pictures up here soon). For some reason one of the clones starting wilting really bad during the transplanting into the cups. Well I ripped it and now have three that are looking good. The bottom fan leaves of the clones are yellowing at the edges but the new growth looks good, so I'm going to just let them die naturally and hope for the best!
i just took four clones from a ladie that was three plus weeks into flower, cut it off at an angle, scraped about an inch of the skin at the base of the cutting off, dipped into superthrive and stuck into a cup of MG soil. no spraying, no dome, nothing and had a 100% success rate. that was under a couple of CFLs.
weird how things work out. mind had the same yellowing at the leaf tips. i think this is where they loose water or something. i just cut em back a little as they did it.
i know they'll pull through because you've got a green thumb!

Pic 1: is of the rooted clones that are continuing 24/0 for about another week until I find a permanent spot to veg them.
Pic 2: The cuttings that are starting to show signs of roots, but not quite ready to be planted yet.
You can definitely see the yellowing and the fan leaves dying off. I hope it doesn't worsen any more :( The new growth is looking good though. Just the bottom foliage.
as long as you get roots and the new growth looks good then all is well. the fan leaves are just casualties. no worries.

This BB genetic said it was a little more demanding to clone so I was iffy in the beginning doing it, but 2 weeks later and they finally root. Only the next few days will tell how things go. I was hoping to at least get a few clones rooted the first time trying and I'm already happy with the outcome. Puts a smile on my face to wake up and see roots coming out the peat pellet :D All is well though. I'm excited for these next few weeks on the ladies I have in flower now. I think one of them might be a 10 week grower as it's more sativa looking then the other one. Again, only time will tell!
Decided to throw up a few more pictures while I watered them. Also, I found some spider mites AGAIN underneath the fan leaves, so I sprayed them down with some more Organicide. I didn't even check to see if it was alright to spray them during flowering, but not much I could really do considering I had nothing else. Sooooooo, now I'm just hoping for the best. I am going to let them try and dry out a bit before placing them back under the lights. I don't want them to spot my plants with the water droplets!
Anyways, onto the pics..... :stoned:
Pic 1: The top of the indica dominant BB. You can see the bud phase beginning :D
Pic 2: The leaning toward sativa dominant BB. Can't really see much yet, but it will pick up in a few days!
Pic 3: Both BB side by side! Left is sativa dominant and right is indica dominant!
Enjoy!
hey italiano, get some equate brand (walmart) bedding spray. it's in the pharmacy section. it's used for lice. it's also only ~$4.
the main ingredient is permethrin. i use this on my snakes' tanks when they happen to get mites. when you have your plants in the tub for watering spray your area down. it dissepates quickly. (when it's dry/dissepated you have no worries. i can put the snakes back in their tanks as soon as it's gone.) as soon as it's dry you can put the ladies back. do this about once every 3-5 days for a couple of weeks. this should help out.
check it out here.
the ladies look awesome by the way! can't wait to see those buds.

i'm no expert but agree with you shake, as long as the new growth is good all is well, the yellowing could have been the clones feeding of the leaves. keep up the good work italiano:thumbsup:Quote:
