Shit, I hope some of that clothing is fancy moose-hunting gear and snowmobile suits --- something they can use when they go back to Alaska!
This thing is another non-issue, and I know that. But I love to bring up the non-issues when they turn around bite the Republicans in the ass for the same non-issue they were criticising the Democrats for. Remember when John Edwards got slammed for his $400.00 haircut? And when Hillary got hit for her $3000 stylist bill? It was BS then and BS now, but worth bringing up since apparently this kind of thing matters to the Republicans who brought it up in the first place.
As for what the Obama campaign is spending, at least in regards to clothes, the candidates buy their own --- the campaigns do not buy them because that is illegal. The Democratic Party does not buy them either. In the case of Palin, the Republican party is buying them for her, so if Joe the Plumber has made any donations to the RNC, he should know that part of it is going to pay for Palin's shopping sprees at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Ha ha ha ha!
Now that's maverick reform, baby! Way to look out for wasteful spending! Can't wait for her to clean up Washington, or at least clean out the inventory at Saks! Ha ha ha ha!
