Good point... i agree completly. Another example is when people thinks their work is their reason for living... people who lives and dies for their carrer... i think life is greater than it...

you make a good point about working. But when it comes to what you do, overall, not just one section of what you do, like work, is who you are. Some people say they are a dentist, if they like dentistry and do it to help people, it makes them a good person for doing so, but only because they do it different from other dentists. Like this, the caring dentist will be extra gentle, while more thourough, to get everything, and be gentle to the patient. while the non-caring dentist will just scrape at your teeth and probably make you bleed and not care, bad dentist. Some people go on walks, some people play with their children, or deliver food to nursing homes.
People are what they do, the only difference is how you do what you do, if youre a good dentist then you are respected for it, because that is what you are, kind. And this is not about money, because you are not your money, your money is just a representation of your contributions to society, and having more is not what makes you a better person either, its how the money is spent, even if it goes to you indulging in something you dont need, its what you do, and how you do it that decides whether or not your a good person, and if it helps you be who you are, then that is what it is for.

I have two different lifestyles that seem polar opposites...the only thing they have in common is music and smoking.
in London (where I'm studying)- going out a lot (indie clubs, raves), gigs, rugby, and listening to a hell of a lot of music (i'm studying music management so i practically study genres and albums and shiz)...and apart from normal studying/internet that's literally it
in the states- satellite tv, food, gardening, playing my guitar and bass (couldn't be arsed bringing them to the uk), and a lot of swimming/sunbathing (was just home in Houston the past 2 weeks and I got a good amount of sun)

I know it goes hand it hand to a point, but i spend my summers on the road seeing whatever shows i can find... festivals and such... i also work and go to school so even as i smoke a few times a day, as long as i get something productive done first i feel pretty good about it. i encourage anyone on here who doesn't go see live music to do it as often as you can. on that note anyone on this post going to All Good this summer?

Lets see, I'm 23 and I enjoy:
- Smoking my wooden tobacco pipe.
- Yelling at kids to get off my lawn.
- Complaining about how youngsters have no damn respect these days.
- Cutting a switch and giving somebody a whoopin'.
- Catching the 3:15 auto-giro to the local shindig.
- Reminiscing about simpler days.
- Sacrificing out-of-towners to my God.
- Yelling at the odd cloud.
- Widdling; of course.
- Blaming mishaps on the Irish.
- And telling people that their beliefs are all wrong.

HAHAHA theres a Simpsons episode where they show Grandpa Simpson's face from a newspaper clipping that he's trying to pass as a picture for his driver license, and the newspaper headline is "Old Man Yells At Cloud", and the picture is him yelling and shaking his fist at this cloud.
Random, but it made me smile. :)

All I do is smoke and play video games. It may not sound like much but it's fun for me. I like to just talk and joke around with my friends and I've always loved video games ever since I was 3. I want to start learning how to play ping pong though.
