Best video game ever????

Ok for my top 5 are

1:Final Fantasy Tactics
3:Final Fantasy VII
5:Super Mario 64
4:Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
2:Halo: Combat Evolved

^^ Excellent list. Mine would look almost identical. Infact... I'll make a top 5

1. Final Fantasy VII
2. The Legend of Dragoon
3. Final Fantasy Tactics
4. Tribes
5. Golden Eye

MegaMan!1,2,3,4,5,6......

hmm lets see my list would probably be

1. Xenogears (beats the beejeezus out of ff7 imo)
2. Final Fantasy Tactics
3. Psi-Ops (telekinesis, pyrokinesis, mind control, and guns...need i say more?)
4. God of War (1 and 2, cant believe none of you mentioned either).
5. Hmm probably Dark Age of Camelot till mythic ruined it with Trials of Atlantis, dont really feel it fits the question though.

not really on my top list but the game Seamen on the Sega Dreamcast was hilarious, a buddy of mine had it and use to play all the time and the fish you raised in it were scary / hilarious. Remember one day it was asking him questions about his parents, after the questioning session the fish cackles madly and says "Excellent, my knowledge of your family grows ever more complete".

Also Age of Conan looks pretty hawt, but the Warhammer mmo is gonna be orgasmic...for us mmo geeks.

i DO completely agree zelda is the best game ever made, but i think as good as orcarina of time was/is, a link to the past for SNES is better. started most of the trademarked gameplay you would expect out of a zelda game. Most zelda fans like ALTTP as well so:thumbsup:

ALTTP was a great game but i have to say that Ocarina of time was the greatest zelda game i've ever played!

Pre-CU Star Wars Galaxies. That game was a whole different level, and for those of you that didn't experience it, I'm very sorry.

I can't wait to play Assassin's Creed, which comes out next week. Also, I'm playing Final Fantasy XI at the moment. It's probably right up under SWG to best mmo. It's 5 years old and going strong and in the right direction, unlike most mmos :)
