Actually Lucy only became a slang for acid because of the song Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds because look at the initials for that song. Lucy Sky Diamonds = LSD
Anyway, HHJ is right about the books man. Lay em down and start experiencing and you'll know exactly what he means. -shrugs- You could read about a thousand acid trips and never know what one's like until you try it.

I think Hempheadjack's posts are evidence enough that you do need to read and learn about your drugs before jumping into them and taking anything. Making yourself an uninformed human guinea pig is not smart at all, it's just very stupid.

This is what i was sayin. Im not researching trips im researching the effects of lsd and how it affects us what its made of.
I just wanted to prove that jackass wrong he did not know what the fuck he was talkin about. Like i said before ill be prepared for my journey with acid because i prepared myself mentally. Im no stranger to psych's man. Shit im dosin on some shrooms tonight, i researched, went out found a patch and now i got free shrooms. I know what im talkin about and have good sources so i post the info i learned for the benefit of the people reading this forum. Hemphead was full of shit, his info was BAD and i wanted people to know so they didnt listen to the propaganda he is allowing to continue about these substances, hes helping the war on drugs continue by just listening to the rumors and not RESEARCHING good info.

I don't see why you people are even using the term "rookie" in the first place. sanfrancyan is not claiming to have tripped on acid or know what a trip is like. He's humbly stating facts that were conducted by chemists and researchers on the chemical makeup and effects of the drug. His posts are the most intelligent in this thread, and I don't see how you can continue to argue experience vs. fact as they aren't even fucking related! Experiences are personal opinion not fact. I respect your experience HHJ, but all you're doing is running around in circles by continuing to post.

See, if you would have READ about the effects of drugs before you did them, you might not have been so inclined to experiment with everything you can. I wasn't around in the 70's so I can't vouch that there was much information to research, but I imagine if you cared enough about yourself you could find it..
