Very true! Marijuana and Weed both sound negative. If you said to a random person, "I am going to go smoke some Cannabis," they might think nothing of it. But if you said, "Yo dude, I'm going to go smoke some Marihuana," it would sound bad. I've thought about this too. Also notice that just about any slang word for any drug has a negative cannatation, I mean connotation.

don't do drugs. If you smke marajuana there is a 100% chance you r head will explode from all of the nasty horrible chemicals in it
