I would recommend it. Willy Jack changes his strains up if there not big sellers. i've heard its a big seller in canada. you should get it quick just in case. out of 10 seeds which sucked for me. i killed 4 in rockwool, 4 were male. another wouldnt grow after sprout. and this one was female. so im sure its my fault, but i didnt like that 4 were male.

So its been one week in canning they hypno and im a hypocit because ive been smoking it before its fully cured. its so damn tasty and the high is amazing. Im down to one mason jar seeing how i smoke maybe about 5 grams and given my girl like 6 grams for those "cramps". you know ;)
You just have to think of yourself as the chef tasting the sauce to determine when it's perfect.

Come on over MC. lol... Actually a friend who doesnt know i grow ( all of my friends dont know) smoked some of the hypnoberry last nite. He was amazed. he was like holy shit where did you get this. this looks and tastes so good. He was freaking out that he could taste the weed and not chemicals ( we only get good weed in my area thats been hydro). He was asking me to get in touch will the dealer, But i dont sell so i told him that this was a one time only. the longer the weed has canned i have noticed the after smoke has a slight blueberry taste, but has more of a earthy/hashy taste while in process of smoking. the Vicks vapor rub flavor has dissapaited.
been having some weird crusty marks on my leaves. i figured it could be a Mg defficency like i thought when i first had my seeds of NYCD, or its T5 light burn. either way, i flushed them, and added the correct nutrient mix and ph. hopefully this will help
I think im going to pick this up for my new grow, maybe retire my T5's 2 vegging or use them on the sides vertically if i can fit them

This is really not the lamp i want or have looked at before. im settling on this because its dirt cheap. i need an HPS. i cant spen 300 like i wanted to. and i can air cool it... anyone have anything to say?
I've been looking at the lights on their website, too. Good prices. The price on that one is pretty good.
My biggest concern would be having the ballast inside the tent. Just seems like that much more to cool.
I was thinking of adding one of their "store brand" models with the external ballast and either the Euro hood or the Cooltube. Both can be air cooled. But then, you are talking a few more bucks.
Seems I've read that folks are getting pretty good results supplementing smaller HPS lamps with CFL's or T5's. Maybe you could get by with a 150 or 175 watt light above and your T5's on the sides.
How many total lumens are you after?

That is from HTG. all of my lamps have been through them. im just trying to get a cheap 250 watt air cooled. They have one for 117 with external ballast and a maxiwing. but im thinking about using a pyrex bake around for a cooltube.Quote:

Nice soil grow man... Those are some badass genetics. NYCD is mostly sativa right? How long is it supposed to flower? And do you know Hypnoberry's pedigree? They look really good.. tight internodal spacing and compact bud formation. The berry is def. indica right? YOu got a good setup... keep it up and watch out for mites:wtf:.

I may be right behind you adding an HPS for the next grow. I'll stick it out with the CFL's this time but would like to move up from bagseed now that we're feeling a bit more confident.

Just Bought a Lumatek 250 watt HPS/MH digital Ballast off ebay for 115 brand new zero shipping....I now plan on buying the reflector wiring cords and a Pyrex Bake a round to make a cool tube.

With your T-5's, can the leaves get right up against the light without getting leaf burn?

HAHA, i know what you mean. i used to grow with CFL's and went to the T5's. I want to go to 400 watts so bad, i just cant afford it with the fans and pump i have going on with the nutrients. I just dont want to have a huge light bill, i figured it out, my area charges a lot for electricity (which is strange). So im just doing the 250, im hoping within the next 3 years i can move to a 600 watt, when i really upgrade and get a homebox L. that will be my next purchase JG! HAHAHA:DQuote:
