2nd Grow from Clones and THC Bomb seeds

Didn't want to say worst because there is no worst plant.

So this list is by buzz from plant.

#6 = mystery #3
#5 = w/w #4
#4 = w/w #6
#3 = PP #8
#2 = Blueberry #2
#1 = pp #15 I have come to the conclusion mystery #15 is another PP judging by the cloans in the extra cloan grow they are very similar to PP#8

Purple Power #15 basically is like doing a hit of NO2 except lasts longer, the stuff is mind numbing.

Got to go now I will go into more detail in another post and my goal this weekend to get the smoke reports out.

Damn I can't even F'in think on 3 hits. ok it is slightly a harsh hit " can't take a big one put it that way and while you struggle to keep the hit in you find yourself laying back with an overwhelming rush. 2 hits later your toast for about 1hr. Then you can concentrate long enough to write this.

I have to give this the #2 position right now. Reason being PP15 tastes better and doesn't make you want to cough as much, but buzz wize this WW is couch lock city :)

She is the smallest yeilder and plant of the 3, but produced very nice tight buds. As you can see she cannot support herself at all.

The second pic is a great example of the results of a properly done LST. See how the first branches formed into main cola producers, then get smaller and finally main top of the plant produces another massive cola.

This girl is very similar to #2 but much bigger:)

She produced some very tight massive buds and a lot of them. She is still tied up in the pics. This plant is going to yeild around 5 ozs.

Your plants are absolutely amazing! That is quite the yield off of one plant, i must say you certainly know what you are doing and i only hope to grow plants like that some day.

One quick question ----- What were your light schedules?

I only use 2 different lighting times.

24/0 for veg and cloaning. Then 13/11 for flowering. I like the extra hour of light. It may or may not of made a difference, But it definitly didn't hert them.:)

I veg for 6 to 8 weeks. I do this by LST'ing until horizontal space is 80% full 5 to 7 weeks. Then let them grow vertical for a week, then I switch to 13/11.

Well I know you have been waiting for this one and the time has com last Friday. I waited to post this because I didn't want it burried at the end of a page.

So she is by far the heaviest of all the plants this grow I don't have any measurements because she was literarly falling over herself the pics will show that. The cola's are literally the size of my average biceps, and there are 6 of them that size.

Here she is hanging in the closet for 4 days along with the other 2 THCB and cloans from other grow. THCB#1 is in the middle of the group shot. Notice the bud size difference from the other plants. Buds on the other plants are not tiny either but nothing like this plant.

I bet I have more than another pound in that closet but I am not going to count the small 25 cloans in my total yeild for this grow. they were grown separatly from the THCB and previous plants.

Definately a grow to be proud of!

Well hi there. as for some viable reason relating to my shift key i cant seem to punctuate as normally

i was gifted with a couple one inch tall bagseed sprouts simply because i couldnt let the little guys go down without a chance

i begin construction on my first little temp growbox and begin more in depth research. like forum'ing for example. I come across your thread and wow....the beginners guide, and your documented grows have pretty much built a frame to what could be my passion. As for being an inspiration, yah, ya were. =D I don't plan on dank harvests this first time round. But, with love, lots-o-care and close and accurate nute readings and blam, you have grade A bud like yourself. Once I get a camera and my grow box situated I'll try to keep in touch. For now, I am soaking up all the knowledge and deep passion for the most rugged and dankevil, yet such promising and uplifting plant humanity could ever ask for. But I can't stop reading now, I have two youngins soaking up light as I aimlessly ramble.

the coolest thing about your grows is all i seem to hear is that without going hydro, you never get decent yeilds, i hear it, i play dumb, cuz look at what this dudes doing! it seems you aim for quality and the quantity comes too, you gotta be real proud of what you got there. hope the buds as good as it looks. i got a widow i wanna see 4 ounces out of, and wouldnt think i could do it without followin this log. damn im sappy when im stoned, i love everyone, yay for mary!

I read every part of this amazing thread! You Sir should make documentaries!! Very nice grow! I just had one question, The FF feed schedule only has eight weeks of flower spelled out. Some of your plants went 80+ days, what exactly did you do with the feed schedule for the extended time? I would simply continue as I was until flush but you really knocked it over the fence! Maybe you could elaborate on those weeks that are not on the schedule for noobs and people using FF. I really hope this wasn't stated and I missed it...

I am going to do my best to point out what I feel led to the results of this grow. Some of this is extremely disputed, but all I can say is "Look for yourself and tell me I how could have done better and how did it harm the plants".

Lighting: 600 watts is a minimum, I have used 400 before and it is just not enough lummins, plus with a 600 you get 80% more lummins for 50% more electricity. I use a Growbright 600 watt HPS, and a 600 watt Agrow Max conversion MH bulb for veg. Set timer to 24/0 for veg. 13/11 for flower.

Grow box: 4'l x 4w x7'h made of 2'x3's and $12.00 a sheet 1/4'' - 4'x8' white board. Box is completely light sealed. This way every bit of light is absorbed by the plants, no light should be leaving the grow space and lighting the entire room. I also used 3 floresent 2 bulb T-12 shop lights with 3100k bulbs for side lighting on 3 sides for side lighting.

Watering and Nutes: Now this subject is where I feel some may disagree. First off I used Fox Farm nutes ONLY!!!! (except for Pro PH Down) I did not use anything else, no sweetners, no supertrive, no MOLLASES, ect. I know in my first grow I swore by mollases, but now I won't let that stuff near my plants. ( I found that shit killed my plants at 8 weeks, with me thinking they were ready my first grow). Next I follow the feeding schedule to the T and use only the lowest amount recommended. The only modification is to the length of each cycle. Meaning I veg and flower longer than the chart calls for and change formulas when I feel the plants are ready for the next step. (Ex. I flower for up to 12 weeks so I extend the final flowering formula 4 weeks.) Now this is the most important part how I water. You may have noticed almost all my pics are in the bath tub or bathroom. Reason being when I water it is a mini flush. ALTERNATING between Nute formula mix and plain water everyother watering!!!! I used 1/2 gallon of water per 2 gallon bucket in veg, and 1 gallon per 5 gallon bucket in flower and let the excess run out the bottom for a half hour. Then depending on time in the bucket that determined how often. When first transplanted it was as long as a week between waterings to 3 to 4 days at the end of flowering. The plant will tell you when they need water. When everything is fine the top leaves are reaching for the light, when water is needed they start to lower down to the horizontal position.

Damn I Just smoked a joint of PP and can't keep a thought, so I will continue later on. :)

I see in some of your threads and your aviatar you have foxfarm products such as chiching beastie bloomz ect.

Did you use any of these supplemental nutes throughout this grow in conjuction with the other foxfarm nutes.

Well I did the harvesting last weekend so I have been either to busy with things being shuffled around or just to much of enjoying my bounty to do this post. So sorry everyone about the wait but here are the final stats and pics of THCB #1

THCB #1 this plant was the smallest of the three and has one of the best smells. She has been curing for 5 days now and has a strong sweet strawberry smell, which transfers well to the smoke.

The buzz is fast and hard hitting:) couch lock buzz, but functionable, more like a muscle relaxing buzz is the best description.

Total Yeild: 77g, or 2.75ozs.

Buds came out as nice tight and heavy with a nice coating of crystals, with really dark red almost brown hairs.

She is the second largest of the three and is close to the same as #1 but just a much bigger yeilder, ( I feel this is due to age, THCB 1 is a full 10 or more days younger from sprouting due to a dog incident at the start of the grow).

Like I said the desciption of this plant is very close to #1 but the smell is not as strong of the strawberry, overall not a pungent as #1, but the buzz is the same.

Total Yeild: 111g or 3.95 ozs.

Dute12, Yes I use all 3 suppliments when called for on the chart. I feel this is the most important part of feeding in the flower cycle.

Chrisdl805, Yes THCB is bred to be a large yeilder, from the "Advertising" I have read is it is a cross of Big Bud and Pure Power Plant, and produces very large buds that are stronger than both. In my opinion this is true.

Nice job!! I am considering the PP. If you were to grow one variety only which would it be overall...taste,effect,yeild?

Planthead I would go with the purple power. Nice buzz, good taste, and great colors.

Well I am sorry for the wait but here are the other Key Points.

Pruning: Well this is probably the most controvercial of all the things that I do. I am not afraid to cut my plants to get them to do what I need. During the Veg stage and LST I will prune any leaf that is blocking direct light to a new branch shoot. I feel this even encourages the plant shoots to grow quicker to make up for the lost leaf. Then during the 4th to 5th week of the flower cycle I will remove almost all the fan leaves except for the top 6 on all the main cola branches. I do this when the new buds are big enough and producing there own leaves. This is to get direct light to the lower buds and make them grow larger. My feeling on what happens is the bud leaves take over the photosynthasis and forces them to just explode in size, I have been doing this for years and have done both pruing and no pruning, and the differance at harvest is very noticable in the bud size. The other plus to this is it makes harvest much easier, since you do not need to remove all the fan leaves then and seeing the trich's is very easy also.

Flowering and veg times: Mine are almost 50% longer than most. My veg from seed can take 6 to 8 weeks, from cloans is when they fill 80% of the grow space. Then flower is by tric's, the first sign of Amber. On most of my plants this happened no earlier than 10 weeks of flowering light and no longer than 12 weeks. NEVER GO BY THE PISTOLS. I have noticed that the plants will go thru a minimum of 3 flower bursts to try and reproduce. What I mean is at around 8 weeks the pistols will turn mostly red then at about week 9 another round of new pistiols will emerge due the plant was never fertilized and needs to try and reproduce again, so it will try again and again untill the plant gives up at around week 12 and begins to shut down. This way you get the maximum growth out of the plant and will increase your yeild significantly and is probably the most important thing that led to the mind blowing yeilds that I got. (nutes had a major play in that also).

Well that is about all that I can think of at this time. So feel free to ask any questions you may have and i will do my best to answer them:)

I wait 2 weeks from sprouting. Reason being the roots are to sensitive at such a young age plus there are enough nutes in the soil in the beginning.

Finally I am getting down to doing this. She was the biggest looking of all the plants but yeild wise she came in 2nd place at 127g or 4.5 ozs. just as I suspected she dried out to very light and fluffy buds that have a nice fruity smell. The main cola's are still the biggest that I have only dreamed of untill now. The biggest came in at just under a half ounce, all put together it came in at 2.5 ozs. of cola bud.

The smoke is slightly sweet with a touch of say a mango taste. Buzz wise she hits you hard and fast that leaves active but with a major case of CRS ( Can't Remember Shit )

All and all I give her around an 8.5 out of 10.

Well here are the total weights by plant and rating out of 10.

White Widow #6, 99grams, 9.0 rating
Mystery Widow, 104 grams, 9.5 rating
Mystery #3, 96 grams, 7.0 rating.
Purple Power #8, 101 grams, 10.0 rating.
White Widow #4, 126 grams, 10.0 rating
White Widow #9, 138 grams, 9.0 rating
THCB #1, 77 grams. 9.5 rating.
THCB #2, 111 grams, 9.5 rating.
THCB #3, 127 grams, 9.0 rating.

Total Weight this grow (drum roll please) 979 grams or 1 gram under 35 onces or 2 Lbs. 3 ozs.

I did it :) :) :) over 2 lbs under 1-600watt Hps.

Now the total of the experimental grow I had going on the side. Now get this 254 grams or 9 ounces.

So the combined weight of both grows is 2.75 Lbs. of prime bud. :) :) I have never had so much bud of this quality before, and think I invested less than $1,000.00 in this entire operation.

The sad thing is, this is the end of this grow log and I can't wait untill the fall so I can challenge this total again. Which maybe some of the same and maybe somethng different. Only the bug on my shoulder knows.
